- Provides advanced skin care and immediate perfecting coverage.
- Renews, Brightens, Evens and Hydrates
- Enriched with Vitamin C and Mineral Pigments
- Multi-Benefit product
What I Say...
PROS
- Light Coverage, perfect for summer.
- The color is about two shades lighter when applied then it is in the swatch.
- Extra Moisturizing
- Lightweight
- Works perfect in place of foundation
- Blends Well
- Has SPF 15
CONS
- Leaves you very shiny, definitely suggest applying a matte powder on top
- Smells awful at first but it fades
- Not a lot of coverage (which isn't really a con, it's what it is meant for) for someone who wants something heavy.
The Verdict...
Is this the best BB Cream I have tried? Far from it. Is it the worst? Absolutely not. This is perfect for someone who wants a BB Cream but doesn't want to shell out tons of money on one (they get pricey). I love a drugstore brand that can hold it's own against the high end competition and in my opinion this one definitely does.
Have you jumped on the BB Cream bandwagon yet? Thoughts?
**Also, if you noticed I used a bit of a different format for this review. I feel like it's more straight and to the point but I write this for you all so I wanted to know if you'd rather see reviews this way or how I usually do them in a more paragraph format... Let me know :)

I haven't tried this yet but I so want to!!
ReplyDeleteI'm all about BBs now. I'm so addicted to the Holika Holika Shimmering. Price wise it's comparable to the drugstore brands.
ReplyDeleteI wish this one came in more colors it didn't match my skin I'm just too pale lol. Did you see that Ulta is now carrying the maybelline and I think it was a loreal bb cream? Those seem interesting I haven't seen any of the swatches for them yet.
ReplyDeleteI've tried this and just didn't get on with it, I don't like wearing powder so it just looked so shiny and greasy! i like the way you wrote this x
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely super shiny, I couldn't wear it without powder.
Deleteglad you tried it--your review saves me from wanting to try:D
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help!!
DeleteI haven't tried any BB creams yet, I think the pros definitely outweighed the cons in your review. I have dry skin so this sounds perfect, I think I will get this if it is available in the UK.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it!!
DeleteI got it to and i actually like to wear it during wintertime when my skin is not that oily. I also wore it on the MakeUp post from yesterday and you can see how "glowy". If i use it, always with a matte powder over it. I like the smell though and fo a little coverage it's always good- like to wear it home, to look alittle fresh for hubby :)
ReplyDeleteYou like the smell? God bless you, it was driving me insane. I'll have to try it in the winter, I just always feel like I need more coverage then!
DeleteI'm still a BB Cream virgin! I gotta get on it!!!

Girl, what are you waiting for?/
DeleteI must try a BB Cream!! I hear great things about this one! I just started using tinted moisturizer, I'm always late to te game.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline just released one and I am DYING to try it!!
DeleteThanks for sharing! I had gotten this several months back and really was on the fence about it. I liked that it was tinted moisturizer but no where near a true 'BB' cream. It was very shiny and did nothing with helping my combo oily skin. I just saw the Maybelline one but may hold off on it until I can try the Korean BB cream I recently purchased.

I want to try the Maybelline BB cream immediately <3
DeleteI actually like this BB cream. It gives me a decent coverage. Yah, it's a little shiny but I neutralize that with some powder and call it good.
ReplyDeleteI'm really on the fence with it. I can't decide :(
