REVIEW: Hard Candy Sheer Envy

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer

I picked up this primer as a part of my birthday gifts, and I've given it a test run for the last few days. It's not the best primer I have ever used but it is definitely not the worst. It is a "Skin Perfecting Primer" and according to Hard Candy it will even out your skin tone, fill in lines and wrinkles and create a flawless smooth finish.

It definitely gave me a smooth finish and I did notice that it did a lot in the filling in lines and wrinkles department. I was absolutely pleased with how easy it was to apply and the little amount of product that you need when using it!

It's a silicone based primer so there is some drying time because when you first apply it it gives you "film like" coverage but once dry you are left with a smooth canvas. I found that it was actually easier to apply my makeup over this.

It's definitely worth the $6.00, especially for beginners or for anyone not wanting to spend much on a primer.

I'm not sure that I would repurchase this particular one, but I will finish it off because it did what I needed it to do. I want to try the other two primers they have in their line because I have an obsession with Hard Candy products!!

It's very sheer and a little bit goes a long way, what I have swatched here is probably a bit much for my face. You really just need a small pea-like amount.

Has anyone tried this?

What do you think? Love it? Hate it?

  11. I haven't every tried Hard Candy. Is it vegan? I'm a vegan, so I'm limited on what products I use.
