B. Witching Bath Co.:Review

I have a new bath and body obsession! I have been trying out a few products from B. Withching Bath Co.  for the last couple weeks and I am so excited to write this review because some of the things have most definitely become "Holy Grail" items in my eyes. I've been using five different things a Body Scrub, Spa Tonic, two Hand Soaps and a Body Lotion. I'm going to review each of the products individually for you all but first I wanted to tell you a little bit about the company if you haven't heard of them before, their back story is one of the main reasons I was so interested. 

B. Withching Bath Company was founded in 1969 and they were a boutique manufacturer of wholesome toiletries to alleviate dry skin and eczema issues. They were way before their time and eventually the company went dormant until 2001. The founders granddaughter revived the company and updated everything while still staying true to the original vision of a bath and beauty line that is not only wholesome and natural but actually effective. I don't know about you all but I have definitely come across companies that claim to be "wholesome" and for lack of a better word the products just suck. I was so excited that this was not the case here. Some of their products require thirty-five, you heard me THIRTY-FIVE steps to craft, I can honestly say thats what drew me in because in my eyes if it takes that long to make something it's got to be good! Another important thing to note is none, not a single one of their products are tested on animals which makes me extra happy. I'm gonna start the review with my FAVORITE product of the bunch which is the Indian Summer Shea Butter Body Lotion.

INDIAN SUMMER SHEA BUTTER BODY LOTION - $13.95

• If I gave you a con, I'd be lying

The Verdict...

This is definitely my new HOLY GRAIL body lotion, I have been using it like crazy. I am already halfway through the bottle and already planning to replace it. This stuff has the best scent, I'm a recovering tanning salon addict lol and this scent brings me back there. It is so hard to find a good body lotion these days that is paraben free so this is absolutely a great thing for me. 

HYDRANGEA SUGAR SCRUB - $14.95

What they say...

• Gentle Exfoliator
• Softening Natural Oils
• Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice

What I say...

PROS

• Smoothing
• Not harsh on the skin
• Smells like a garden

CONS

• It's not oil free so you can't use it before a spray tan (if that's a concern)
• Long lasting smell

The Verdict...

I wanna say that the reason I listed the long lasting smell as a con and not a pro is because I like to wear perfumes and I felt like since the smell (which is great) was competing with my perfume all day so I wish it wasn't as strong.  This is definitely one of the only sugar scrubs that I have used that hasn't left me completely red afterwards which is amazing. I find that most body scrubs are so harsh that I turn red and you can even use this after shaving because it is that gentle. 

SPA TONIC MOISTURIZING LIQUID CLEANSER - $12.95

What I say...

• Super Moisturizing

The Verdict...

YOU GUYS!! Let me explain, ever ask a question and all you hear is crickets? Well that is the case here because I couldn't begin to list a con if you paid me to. Can you marry a scent? I swear if you could, I'd divorce my husband and marry this scent. I love it, I can't even explain it, it's just FRESH. I have been using it as my shower gel and I love it. I want everything they have in this line which includes a body scrub, bubble bath and even a candle to name a few. I seriously want it all. It's love! 

ONE-HUNDRED ROSES LIQUID CLEANSER - $12.95

What I say...

PROS

• The moisture 
• The scent
• Great hand soap
• Extremely cleansing

CONS

• A bit oily 
• Very thick 

The Verdict...

I have been using this as a hand soap in my bathroom and even my husband has been using (guy uses dishsoap) it which says a lot. It just has that extra clean feeling to it and you can't ask for a better scent. I don't know about the rest of you but roses are my favorite so having my hands smell like them is ok by me. I think when I'm about halfway through I'm gonna switch and use it as a shower gel just to see how I'd like it. 

HEIRLOOM TOMATO KITCHEN & GARDEN SOAP - $12.95

The Verdict...

Ok so this is the only product out of the bunch that I wasn't thrilled with and honestly it has little to do with the actual product itself. It has to do with the fact that I'm a freak and tomatoes freak me out, I don't eat them and half the time I whine about cutting them for husband to eat. I'm a freak, that's the truth, now you all know lol. So I still forced myself to try (I actually dared myself to try it) it and like I knew as soon as I saw the name I wasn't a huge fan but I will say that I gave it to my neighbor because I refuse to waste things and she LOVE LOVE LOVES so I can promise you, it's just me and my weirdness. 

As I am sure you can tell I am loving using these products. One of the biggest things that caught my eye is that this is a New Jersey based company and Bethenny Frankel (whom I've said before I'm obsessed with) loves them! She actually tweets about them quite frequently so that was definitely a good sign. I have been absolutely loving using this stuff and I will most definitely be making a future purchase. 

B. Witching Bath Co. offers free shipping on orders over $100 within the United States, but they do ship to Canada, Australia and England which you don't find with many locally based companies. I like this because I feel like it's something that can be comparable to places like Lush who offer bubble baths and soaps and things like that but don't have many paraben free, all natural and truly made with love products.  

I know this was a bit of a large and in charge review but it was because I really wanted to show everything and express how truly great this stuff is. 

If you love lotions and body scrubs and soap as much as I do and want that luxurious feel but at a "budget friendly" price this is definitely the brand for you! Go get you some, ladies. I could stare at the website and all of the scents forever. 

If nothing else, definitely get you some SPA TONIC. AMAZING!!!!!!
