Conair You Curl: Review & Twitter Giveaway

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far! It's rainy and humid here in South Jersey so I don't plan on leaving my house, I'm soaking up the AC and some good trashy reality TV. I have a review today on a new curling wand by Conair and I was excited to try it out because I hate curling irons that have clamps, with having such thin hair I always end up with crazy creases from the clamp.

What I say...

PROS

• Easy to use clamp-less styling 
• Glove provided 
• Bouncy creaseless curls 
• No damaging hot spots 
• Causes less stress on the hair

CONS 

• It gets SUPER hot, cannot be used without the glove
• I kept turning it off while curling because of where the buttons are placed

The Verdict...

I have an addiction to to clamp-free curling wands because I have such thin hair. If I use a curling iron with a clamp I end up with creases everywhere. So I was excited to try this and it definitely did not disappoint! I loved the bouncy curl look that it gave me and it was so easy to use. It's priced a bit high on the CONAIR website but I have seen it in the drugstores and Walmart for as little as $40, which in my opinion is a good investment for a curling wand that actually works. I loved that they provide you with a finger glove because I have been through wands that didn't and left me with burns. This wand was spectacular and I have been using it like crazy. I definitely recommend using this along with a heat protectant but all in all is a great bargain. 

I was able to achieve a nice bouncy curl look with this, which is something that I can't get with most curling irons/wands. So I was really excited with how my hair turned out! One more picture before we get on to the giveaway.

I just love the messy curl look, which is why this curling wand is definitely a keeper!!
