If you guys have been keeping with my Birchbox reviews you probably know that I have been especially disappointed lately and have even been considering cancelling my subscription. I'm still not sure what I'll do but this month definitely made the decision a little harder. For July Birchbox teamed up with Glamour to create a box based on our five senses: Smell, Touch, Taste, Hear and See. They did a pretty good job I think of staying true to that. I'm quite ecstatic that I didn't get any type of food because I had seen a few girls getting mints or a granola bar, and we all know how much I dislike food in a beauty box. 

A look at this month's postcard, "Go ahead, start playing. In addition to gorgeous smells, colors, and textures, you;ll also find custom earbuds that will help you rock in bright style all summer."

INSIDE THE BOX

AHAVA PURIFYING MUD MASK

I'm super excited to try this!! My skin care routine has been in a rut lately and I am definitely trying to branch out and try new things and find those holy grail items. I'm a huge fan of masks so hopefully this one is no different. 

"Thick with Dead Sea mud and Kaolin white clay, this fast-acting mask detoxifies skin in the amount of time it takes to catch a commercial break."

LAURA GELLER LIPSTICK

I absolutely love Laura Geller products, but I refuse to spend the money on them so when they come in a Birchbox I get super excited. This is a double dipped lipstick in *Caribbean Kiss* and each side is a different color. 

"This double-sided lipstick makes it easy to switch between (or layer) two golden pink pigments."

MANNA KADAR SHIMMER LOTION

I have never heard of this product but based on the description, I am interested to try it out. I'm not a fan of shimmer on my face but hopefully this more of a glow, rather than glitter filled. 

"This illuminating liquid gives your complexion a supermodel-like sheen. Mix it with your foundation, or apply as a highlighter."

OSCAR DE LA RENTA LIVE IN LOVE

I'm usually not thrilled with perfume samples in subscription boxes but I actually wanted to try this one out so I was completely fine receiving it. 

"This elegant floral layers notes of hyacinth and orchid over a rich base of sandalwood and cedar."

BIRCHBOX EXCLUSIVE EARBUDS

This was the "Lifestyle Extra" for July and was designed specifically for the subscription box and are not even  available for purchase, so I'll admit I kinda feel special. The not so special part, they're not that great they make the music sound kind of muffled. 

"We designed these neon headphones just for you. Pair them with your best playlist."

Total Value Of My Box: $29.16 

I'd say that's a pretty nice value for a $10 subscription service. That alone leads me to believe Birchbox may be stepping it up a bit with all the competition out there. I am a tad disappointed that I didn't get the nail polish that some people did but overall I was satisfied with this month!

I'd rate this box an 10/10.
