Hey ladies!! What's a quick swatch you might ask? I wanted to start a little series for everyone where I'll do a mini review/swatch on a product I have picked up. Just to show the pigment and my original thoughts etc. I'll be calling these posts "Quick Swatch", I hope you all enjoy the first one I have today and stick around to see some of the great ones I have planned!

This duo is from the Maybelline Perfect Pastels line in the color *Shocking Seas*. I am a sucker for blues, not those harsh 'the 80's called and want their makeup back' blues, but perfect sheer pastel blues. I had a rebate for a Maybelline product so I figured I would pick one of these up as I have been eyeing it for awhile. I just love it. I feel like this color would work great for most skin types and eye colors and is perfect for any season. Pictured above is a light swatch, and it's a shimmer shadow but not too much.

DeleteI like your idea of quick swatch! It's to the point. I might need to "borrow" this concept if you don't mind. I too like blue eyeshadow but need to be careful and selective that it doesn't look like a grandma from the 80s. I don't own any maybelline duos but I have a maybelline quad tha I lurve.
