Red Apple Lipstick: Review

Red Apple Lipstick is a brand that I hadn't heard much about before stumbling upon them on Twitter, and let me tell you, I am so glad that I did. Red Apple Lipstick isn't just lipstick, it's glosses, balms, pencils and even eye shadows. All their products are completely safe, yes you heard me SAFE. They are all paraben, gluten, lead, animal part and soy free. They're also a certified vegan company, which is something I know many people look for in a brand. I was lucky enough to be able to try out some of these amazing goodies and I couldn't wait to tell you all about it!

Gluten-free Lipstick in Crush On Me & Plum Sexy Crazy ($17.50)

The lipsticks by far are my favorite of what I was sent and they are absolutely amazing. They are extremely creamy in application and have an incredible wear time. The colors themselves sit a bit on the bold side and even stain your lips long after they wear off, but in the most pleasant way. They're enriched with Vitamin E so you're getting all day moisture as you apply and wear. The pigmentation is perfect and the best part was that it was build-able, so you could go even bolder. 

Plum Sexy Crazy is a rich plum and it was vibrant and bold with just one pass.  Crush On Me is a bolder pink with what seems like a bit of blue undertone to it and as soon as I swatched it I knew, I had a new favorite.

Gluten-free Lip Gloss in Metropolis ($18.50)

I was a little scared to try this out because of the price because honestly, I rarely would spend so much on a lip gloss but in this situation I so would. It's amazing. It has a sweet, not to intense fragrance to it when you first open it. It's not sticky at all, it's completely, like the lipsticks, creamy and gorgeous on application. I have to say that I absolutely love that these products are gluten-free, especially since it's such a common allergy for most, the fact that you can apply this on your lips safely is really awesome. 

Collector Edition Z-Palette ($12)

Gluten-free Eyeshadow in Buttercream, Champagne, Espresso & Violet Vixen ($16.75)

The best part about this is there are so many different things to choose from you can buy eye shadows individually, create your own palette, get a custom Z-Palette or buy by the pan individually. Each Z-Palette holds nine individual gluten-free eye shadows in total. The colors I chose were very safe for me and are my go to colors especially the lighter of the two shades because I am so fair in complexion. I have to say Violet Vixen really caught my eye though and I'm not usually a fan of something so bold but the pigmentation and shading is great. 

Buttercream a gorgeous pearl shade with a hint of silver, perfect for the inner corner or a brow highlight.

Champagne a dusty shade of taupe with a bit of a frost this color is perfect on it's own with some eye liner. 

Espresso a dark matte brown that is so versatile you could use it for just about any look. 

Violet Vixen a brown based purple that brings out my blue eyes like nothing I have even seen.

Gluten-free Rallye Balm ($15)

You'll be a believer the moment this smooth balm graces your lips." that's direct from the website and I don't think I could have explained it any better myself, it's seriously life-changing lip balm. I've been using it every night before bed and after just two days my lips haven't been dry at all.
