Becca The One Perfecting BrushThanks to iFabbo, I had the opportunity to try out Becca The One Perfecting Brush. This brush is a true multi-tasker. They say it cuts makeup application in half by replacing these 10 tools: foundation brush, powder brush, contour brush, bronzer brush, stipple brush, blush brush, fan brush, concealer brush, kabuki and sponge!

ABOUT ||  From start to finish, primer to powder, The One Perfecting Brush can be used with liquids, creams, powders and anything in between. Non-porous, high-quality goat hair allows product to sit on top of bristles rather than absorbing, ensuring a seamless application with no wasted product.

The bristles are packed in a 3.5 inch horizontal design allowing you to effortlessly and evenly cover larger or smaller surface areas. The density of the brush creates a smooth, even, and airbrushed application every time, taking the guesswork out of brushwork. Flat edges fit the linear contours of your face, while curved corners allow for targeted, more precise application. Long, flexible bristles make a variety of application techniques possible including: targeted application, stippling, blending, contouring, and highlighting.

HOW TO USE || This brush makes it easy to apply a variety of products in the shortest time possible!

  • FOUNDATION ||  Using the broad side of the brush, sweep foundation horizontally across forehead and then move to cheeks and chin. Finish by sweeping vertically down the nose using the narrow surface of the brush.
  • HIGHLIGHTER || Using the narrow surface of the brush, sweep illuminator down the tops of cheekbones and down the bridge of nose.
  • CONTOURING & BRONZING  ||  Using the narrow surface of the brush, sweep brush under cheekbones, down sides of nose, and around temples.
  • BLUSH & TINT || Using the corner of the brush, buff into apples of cheeks using a circular motion and blend out.

Becca The One Perfecting Brush

Ladies, listen up. They’re speaking the truth, this brush is amazing. I was more then a little obsessed after just one use. I’ve used it everyday since but it was certainly love at first sight. The bristles are free of dye, ensuring they will not lose shape or softness over time, and the unique shape of the handle and soft-touch finish provide complete control during application, allowing you to create your desired look.

I’ve used it with powder foundation, liquid foundation, tinted moisturizer, concealer, highlighter, bronzer, blush, & an illuminator.  I have to say, it probably works best with powdered products and really hits it out of the park. You have to put in a bit more work with liquid products, and blend a bit further then you would normally which I think is because of the large size. Everything else is completely on point.

It truly rocked at blending in my concealer under my eyes and around my nose to hide dark circles and blemishes. If you’re using it with liquid products, you’re most likely going to have to clean it between each use so that is a downside. Powder though? Goes straight through foundation to blush perfectly. I’m loving to use it in this order: concealer, powder foundation, highlighter, bronzer, & blush. Using it in that order I found that you don’t have to spot clean in between and it gives you a flawless airbrushed finish.

HOW TO CLEAN & CARE || Wash at least every two weeks if used daily. Gently wash bristles in lukewarm water with a mild alcohol-free soap or baby shampoo. Do not submerge brush in water. Avoid tugging or squeezing bristles when cleaning. Lay flat on a towel to dry. To prevent bristle frizz, after cleaning use a small amount of hair conditioner on the ends of the bristles. Thoroughly remove with water.

This brush is absolutely, hands down, a contouring goddess. I have never gotten my contour as perfect as it is when you’re finished with The One Perfecting Brush. Seriously amazing! I think, dare I say… I’ve reached holy grail status.

If you’re looking for a go to brush, needing to replace a bunch of others, or in need of something to travel with then this is for you! If you don’t grab one, you are missing out, I promise you that.

You can pick up the Becca The One Perfecting Brush from Sephora at what I think is a great value for $49!

What an amazing tool! I can’t fathom how it could work with both liquid and powder, but that is pretty damn awesome! I may have to invest in it!
