Spring has definitely sprung in New Jersey, heck yesterday felt more like Summer so I have surely been rocking some fun brights on my hands & feet! However,  I can also be found rocking a hot pink nail color in December so my love of bright fun colors knows no bounds! It’s no secret, I’m a huge nail polish fan, my bottle count is over 1000 at this point and out of control but I just can’t be stopped. You know what else is no secret? My undying love for Walgreens, we’re in a very stable relationship going on quite a few years and we visit with one another quite often. It’s not just one sided either, I know that if I wander into my local Walgreens they will greet me in style with a large assortment of the most beautiful nail shades for Spring to truly feed my nail polish habit. Shop brands like Essie in-store or online. I prefer in-store since, ya know I like to get up close & personal with all of the fantastic shades they offer! I like to stay on top of spring nail trends and in order to do that, a stop by with my love is mandatory!

Super bright and fun, yes? I love them! My husband thinks I am C-R-A-Z-Y but they’re just SO bright. Walgreens has hundreds of polishes from Essie. From I’m Addicted (how fitting, right?) to Serial Shopper (ha!) you can definitely find your perfect color, and then some! I highly recommend the neons from Essie Summer collection because they are so full of fabulousness! I used these four from Essie: ‘I’m Addicted’, ‘Too Taboo’, ‘Vices Versa’ and ‘Serial Shopper’ to create a super fun waterfall manicure. This is one of my favorite manicures to wear, I see it all over Pinterest and rocking it with these neons was so much fun! My nails were the hit of the BBQ yesterday, mostly because they were super bright and caught everyone’s eye!

Ahh I just love it! I used ‘Serial Shopper’ for the base and while it looks like a light coral in the bottle, after three coats it is an eye popping bright neon and one of my new favorite shades! Don’t less this mani intimidate you, you can definitely rock it and DIY-it at home by yourself!

STEP ONE  //  Pick your base color, paint those nails and wait about two minutes for it to dry.

STEP TWO  //  Grab a small nail art brush (or a bobby pin, which is what I used & use for most nail art) and pick 2-4 accent colors and simply drag the colors down in a quick swoosh motion to get the waterfall effect.

STEP THREE  //  Top it off with your favorite top coat and you’re good to go!

See! EASY PEESY! With just these four shades the possibilities and combos are endless! Definitely in line with all the spring nail trends this year and can easily take you right into the summer season. I used ‘Vices Versa’, ‘I’m Addicted’ and ‘Too Taboo’ for the accent colors. They all went together seamlessly.

Spring has most definitely made an appearance and even if the weather is not appropriate where you are, I suggest getting in the mood with a bright and fun manicure! Like I said, the lovely Walgreens has a huge selection of the most gorgeous shades that are absolutely spring appropriate!
