Easy Everyday Makeup Routine

Easy Everyday Makeup Routine! Full coverage in under 10 minutes! #beauty #makeuptips

Are you a busy person? I am sometimes so busy that I can barely recall what my name is much less spend two hours getting ready. I usually have about 10 minutes to get it done and that’s on a good day. I pretty much have the same go-to products when it comes to my easy everyday makeup routine. I am always grabbing for the same things so it makes it super easy to get it done in half the time it would if I was digging through my collection. I keep all of these products in my makeup bag (along with some others that you can see in my makeup bag confessional) and I’m good to go.

I get started with my regular skincare routine (which I’m not counting in the 10 minutes, as it’s usually done way before I get to my makeup) for other reasons in my crazy schedule. I work at home so most days don’t even bother with makeup and my husband is lucky if I brush my hair. I always start off with a primer and my skin lacks that natural glow so I go with the Magic Lumi from L’Oreal for my primer because it’s super illuminating and Too Faced ‘primed and poreless‘ to give the illusion of smaller pores and a good base to start. I apply this all over my face. I tend to get some dark circles since I almost never get over 4 hours of sleep and a perfect product for that is the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, I apply it right under my eyes to brighten a bit before foundation using the sponge on the end of the bottle and my fingers to pat it down. Since it’s summer I have been using a lot more BB creams and not as many foundations, I have been loving the New York Color Smooth Skin BB and I’ve been applying this all over with a bit of the primer mixed in as well!

For my highlight and contour we know that I am a huge fan of the Maybelline Dream Lumi concealer from previous ‘how to contour‘ posts so I always use that, I’ve been using the Elf Contouring blush and bronzer as well as the Elf Whipped Shimmer for a bit of subtle blush and bronzer.  I set it all with my Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder and move on.

I almost always do my eyes last, is that odd? I know so many people who do them first but I just never go that route. Anywho, when I’m in a hurry I use the Maybelline Dream Lumi for an eye shadow primer, and I always grab for shades in my Urban Decay Naked3 palette (review + swatches here) and I use the Rimmel Scandaleyes liner in nude for my inner corner and lower lash line to brighten up my eyes. I have been loving the Ardency Inn liner so that’s definitely been a staple and Benefit’s They’re Real mascara is perfect for a quick look! End the look with a Revlon balm stain and there you have it, an easy everyday makeup routine that can be done in under 10 minutes!!
