Change Your Summer Outfits to Fall Outfits

Hey everyone! I’m back to share a new fashion post with you guys! It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over, especially because we’ve had a really mild summer and most of it hasn’t even felt like summer, but the kids are all heading back to school in less than 2 weeks! (School starts August 4th here.) And the stores are PACKED with people buying school supplies. It’s more than a little bit insane.

So, that means that its time to start thinking about your fall wardrobe. I know, I know. I’m heart broken that the time for tanks and shorts is almost over too.

But, we can still use those items for the winter! I’m one of those people that likes to wear my summer staples all year round. So I put together three summer to fall outfits that you can mix and match to use your summer items in the winter!

In outfit number one, I took one of my staple summer outfits: a crop top and high waisted jean shorts and exchanged the shorts for some skinny jeans, the sandals for some combat boots and threw on an awesome moto jacket to make this outfit perfect for fall! I hate being overly warm in the fall so wearing a tank or muscle tee with a jacket makes it perfect for the mild weather.

Outfit number two gets out of my comfort zone because I literally took the entire summer outfit of a tank and shorts and added tights under the shorts. I have not actually tried this look, but I love it when I see it on other people so I really want to try it this year. I added some ankle boots for the shoes and a loose white sweater to make it weather appropriate!

Outfit number three is a dressier option. I love these skater skirts or circle skirts. I think they are so classic and fun and wearing crop tops is a perfect pair with them! To make it more fall appropriate I added tights under the skirt and a blazer and exchanged the sandals for flats. Now it’s perfect for a date night in the fall!

You can do this with so many outfits so get in your closet and get creative! It’s super easy and it saves you money because you aren’t buying for each season!

That’s all I’ve got for you guys today, but be sure to head over to my blog because I have a ton of fashion DIYs planned and I hope you’ll stop by!
