AFFILIATE LINKS PR SAMPLES PURCHASED BY ME Are you ready to look fabulous for date night? Check out these date night makeup tips! I’m not really a “New Year Resolutions” type of gal but this year I did make one. That being that I would make sure I made time to have a date night with my husband. Now whether this is just pizza and movies on the couch or a night out on the town, I always want to make myself up a little bit and feel pretty. That’s where date night makeup comes in to play. The products that I know I can reach for to really feel fabulous.

So I’m gonna walk you through my date night prep! It usually starts with my skincare routine and then from there I will go into makeup. I love using a medium to full coverage foundation that’s going to give me that flawless airbrush like finish. One of my favorites currently is the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous. It applies so evenly and doesn’t move, which comes in handy if we end up standing in a hot bar waiting to be seated. For the eyes, I am a creature of habit and like I’ve said before, I almost always reach for my Naked3 palette from Urban Decay to do my eyes. I’m about to hit pan on two of the shades and that is making me crazy. I won’t grab for falsies for any old date night, so I usually just finish my eyes off with a Maybelline gel liner and my old favorite for all occasions Maybelline Great Lash mascara.

For highlighting I grab from my benefit high brow and high beam which make highlighting your brow bone and your face as easy as pie. I sometimes even use high brow in my contouring routine for the bridge of my nose. For the brows, I have been loving Build a Brow from IT Cosmetics.

My go-to blush as of late is Tickled Pink from Elf, which is a pretty close dupe to a cult favorite NARS blush so we likey the price of ELF! Bronzer is one that I don’t think will ever be replaced in my heart, the matte Park Avenue Princess from Tarte is life.

Finish it off with a very on trend lipstick and you’re good to go. Of course, it’s all packaged nicely in my Tory Burch makeup bag which I lurveeeeee.

What are your date night makeup essentials? Let me know!
