5 Minute Makeup Routine

With summer coming to an end our lives get a whole lot busier and for me that means I have almost half the time to get ready in the morning as I usually do. To transition from my summer look into fall I came up with a 5 Minute Makeup routine to share with you all. You can find all of the products mentioned below at, Sally Beauty, of course since you all know I may as well just take up residence there, they know me by name at this point.

5 Minute Makeup Routine

Pore Minimizer

Let’s get started! I started with Femme Couture Get Poreless Pore Minimizer as my primer which I just applied with my fingers as you would a lotion before I got started.

Step One: Pore Minimizer & CC Cream

STEP ONE: Start with a foundation, I went with the Femme Couture Get Corrected CC Cream. Apply this with a beauty sponge. Using the sponge will help you get full coverage out of a product that is usually just a tinted moisturizer. It completely covers up all of my redness.

Step Two: Eyeshadow

STEP TWO: I like to do my eyes immediately after foundation before moving on to the other parts of my face since they tend to take more time and we are wanting this routine to be super quick. I’m using a Palladio Silk FX all-in-one Herbal Eyeshadow palette in “a la mode” and each shade is marked of with where to apply. I took the all- over base and applied it all over my lid. Then we go in with the crease color, a darker shade. Blend it all out until there are no harsh lines. Pack some of the lid color into the middle of your lid in a patting motion.

STEP THREE: Highlight. Highlight. Highlight. This is my favorite part of any eye look. Use the highlighter shade in the inner corner and right on your brow bone.

STEP FOUR: I want this to be quick so I take the highlighter shade from the eye palette and double it as a highlighter on my face. Add the highlighter to your upper cheekbone, under the eye, a bit in your cupids bow and some in your t-zone.

STEP FIVE: Bronzer is my jam. No makeup look for me would be complete without bronzer, I grabbed the Palladio Herbal Mosaics Powder 2-IN-1 Blush + Bronzer in “Sun Kissed” and applied it in the hollows of my cheeks, note the fishy face.

Blush and Bronzer

STEP SIX: I am loving this Palladio Herbal Baked Blush in “choc-au-lait”. Apply this to the apples of your cheeks.

Lash Obsessed

STEP SEVEN: Give those lashes a once over with Palladio Lash Obsessed Mascara. Add a tiny bit of liner to the outer corner of your eyes with Palladio Herbal Eye Liner in “taupe”.

Lip Gloss

STEP EIGHT: A nice nude lip, like the Palladio Herbal Lip Gloss in “Pink Pearl” and we are ready to go!

This is my go-to look during the week when I don’t have much time and I’m loving it. It also needs to be said that the Femme Couture Get Corrected CC Cream is my new favorite foundation product. I loved the coverage, it lasted for 9+ hours, and left my skin looking flawless. I was super impressed.

  • I’m glad to see that a CC cream or foundation is part of your daily look. If I wear makeup I just have to have that evening and smoothing layer on…otherwise I feel like it’s not worth putting makeup on. I read all those interviews with stars that say they just put on blush and mascara and I don’t get it lol. I’m glad I’m not the only one 😉
