We have all been there, that oh shit moment when we realize that our foundation is too light or too dark. For me, it’s always the latter. Even some of the lightest foundation shades from certain brands aren’t light enough for me. It’s super frustrating. Usually I’d end up just chucking them in the garbage bin because there was nothing I could do.

The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops

This is a problem no more, because little fairy angels of joy at The Body Shop have solved my pale gal problems. They have these new Shade Adjusting Drops. They’re spectacular. I tried to stay bias, but as soon as I saw them I knew I would love them as long as they did what they said they would and didn’t change the formula of my foundation.

Transform an “almost right” shade into your perfect one in just one drop. This is everything. I love that the Lightening shade drops isn’t a pure white, it’s almost ivory, which makes it like perfection.

The cool thing about the Lightening version is it lightens and neutralizes yellowness. This is awesome for someone like me, some foundations I just can’t get the yellow out of and that doesn’t go well with my cooler undertones. So this does so much more.

The Darkening Drops darkens while keeping natural depth. I ended up sending this one over to a friend after playing with it a bit, because I almost never have to make a shade darker.
