I absolutely love Pure Leaf Iced Tea. So I was super excited to find out that they released their own line of loose and bagged tea at Walmart. It’s probably the best thing I have heard this month. I’m a tea addict. In the summer I’m downing iced teas and in the winter I’m all about the hot tea. This year specifically I’ve really been getting into the whole tea latte thing.
I picked up the Pure Leaf Green Tea with Mint and Pure Leaf Black Tea with Vanilla in the tea aisle at Walmart. Pure Leaf Tea is made from exceptionally long tea leaves that have been picked, rolled and dried, nothing else, and sourced from estates in countries like India, Kenya, Indonesia and Sri Lanka where farmers are committed to growing only the best-tasting tea, one sip is all it takes and you’ll be just as obsessed with it as I am.
I also love that the bagged tea is in a little pyramid bag for me, it’s always the better option when brewing a cup of a tea. It just allows it to breath better making for a better cup. It kind of floats around instead of just lying flat on the bottom of the cup. And plus also, they’re cuter.
And what better time to try this new kind of tea than now? A cup of Pure Leaf Black Tea with Vanilla or Pure Leaf Green Tea with Mint would definitely be the perfect complement to these cold winter nights we’ve been having. There’s nothing like a cup of tea. And like I said, I’ve really been loving the tea lattes so I thought I’d share this delicious recipe in case you wanted to amplify your tea game a little bit.
You could use this same recipe for any of the new Pure Leaf bagged teas, I’m using the Pure Leaf Green Tea with Mint for this recipe. But I’m willing to bet the Pure Leaf Black Tea with Vanilla or the Pure Leaf Chai Tea would make an amazing latte as well.
- 2 Pure Leaf Green Tea with Mint Pyramid Tea Bags
- ½ Cup of Milk
- Sugar & Honey to taste
- Fill your mug with boiling water
- Drop in the two Pure Leaf Green Tea with Mint tea bags and let sit for 5 minutes
