2017 is all about health and wellness for me. I’m really making strides to make better choices and cut out some bad habits. One of those habits is snacking. I am so bad about it. I took the POPSUGAR “What Kind Of Snacker Are You?” Quiz. I wasn’t surprised with the results, I got The Mindless Muncher which is so spot on. Most of the time I’m not even hungry and I just snack away.

The Mindless Muncher: Whether it’s binge-watching in front of your TV or working at your desk, you lose all control of your hand as it makes endless trips to and from that bag of pretzels. You may not even be hungry. Stop this habit once and for all by using all your senses when snacking. Look at your food, smell it, touch it with your hands or your tongue, and listen to the sound it makes as you chew. Going through the steps of really experiencing what you eat will naturally slow you down and help you become a more mindful eater. Another tip is to blend up a Meta Appetite Control smoothie or add two teaspoons to a cold glass of water.

I decided to try out the Meta Appetite Control in my daily smoothies. I created a super delicious chocolate peanut butter smoothie. I try to have this in the morning because I’m really bad with breakfast and I usually skip it mainly due to lack of time. I know that skipping breakfast leads to all of my mindless munching all day.

Smoothies are such a good way to make a healthier choice. And you have so many options. I’m a fan of chocolate though, so I reach for this smoothie more often. Especially because it’s so easy to make.

I’ve been adding Meta Appetite Control to my smoothie. I have the unflavored version so it’s super easy to add into any kind of smoothie you’re making. It’s great to have this in the morning because it is clinically proven to help control cravings between meals*, making it perfect to start my day. This way I’m not spending my morning snacking away. The Meta psyllium fiber thickens and forms a gel in your digestive system, which slows absorption and digestion and helps suppress your appetite between meals.*. I don’t find myself having the need to even want to go grab a snack during the day and I feel full until lunch.
