I’ve been on my own Journey To Healthy for quite some time. This journey isn’t one that can be taken alone. You need supportive people and products to get there. The people come in when you’re not feeling so great. As a blogger, it’s kind of tough on the internet some days and body shaming tends to run rampant. People say some of the most hurtful things when they can hide behind a computer screen. It’s really easy to let someone’s empty words get the best of your journey. Knock you down a peg or two. Leave you feeling sad and not wanting to workout or do anything really. People and products are what get me through this journey of mine.

I’ve rounded up some of my favorite things that along with my friends and husband keep me happy on his journey to healthy. A pick me up, a good meal, and things that are great for women’s health in general.

First up, we have a delicious treat. I like to start with food. Being hangry isn’t good for anyone, right? The Healthy Choice Power Bowls are super delish. Healthy Choice Power Bowls are made with a combination of nutrient-dense vegetables, proteins and whole grains catering to people living an active lifestyle. Meals are inspired by Korean, Cuban and Latin cuisines and are made in new bowls made of plant-based fiber instead of plastic. It’s quick and easy to make, fits right into my days which tend to be pretty busy. The flavors are bold, it tastes like any fresh meal that would take me over an hour to make.

Basically, you can take the DNA test and see how your DNA breaks out across 31 populations worldwide with this ancestry kit. You can see where your ancestors lived 500 years ago, that’s amazing to me. I am so intrigued. I had been researching for awhile and every direction pointed me towards the 23andMe DNA test.
