I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #GreenDotCards at Walgreens campaign, sponsored by Green Dot Corporation. Although I was paid for this, all opinions are my own.
I have not been a fan of traditional banking since as long as I can remember. I hate lines. I hate having to figure out what hours a bank is or isn’t open. It’s 2017, I’m busy, we’re all busy, I needed something that would be convenient and available 24/7.
That’s where Green Dot cards come in. It’s an easy and convenient way to manage your spending. Everything from online shopping to bill paying is a lot less stressful when I’m using my Green Dot Reloadable Prepaid Visa® Card. For me, this was an outside the box idea to take control of my money management without being forced to deal with a traditional brick and mortar bank. It’s easy and functional. It makes my online shopping experience so much better because I know exactly what’s on my card.
You can pay bills and shop online. You can select from four different Green Dot cards at Walgreens that offer different features. Depending on your wants and needs, you’ll find a card that is right for you.
The Green Dot Reloadable Prepaid Mastercard and Visa cards are perfect for someone like me who doesn’t want to be tied to a traditional bank. Once you’ve verified your identity and activated your personalized card, you can set up the FREE direct deposit, deposit your check right with your phone, and send money to others with a debit card. These are important points for me, especially the ability to be able to deposit my checks via my phone, it’s SO easy and convenient. There are a few simple fees to keep in mind.
With the Green Dot Prepaid Visa Card, you’ll register them online after you purchase them, they do have a monthly fee of $7.95 but if you load $1,000 in a month, the fee gets waived the following month. Whether you’re wanting to pay a few bills and throw down on some online shopping, this is the way to go.
