Fall Beauty Products

September 18, 2013
We’re having some fun today!! I’m teaming up with Carly, from Lipgloss and Crayons && we’re sharing our favorite Fall Beauty Products with y’all! Plus, if you stick around until the end of the post; there’s a pretty awesome giveaway up for grabs for one person!!
Fall Beauty Products

I’m excited to share this, even if I am still in denial and rocking hot pink on my nails… For Fall, I don’t find that I need to change up my whole routine but there are quite a few things that I always change up or are just staples in my Fall beauty product routine and I want to share them with you all today!!

SKINCARE

  • Eve Micro Sonic Care Brush – This little gem is something that is great for all seasons but especially good for fall because you’re wanting to repair any damage the sun may have done to your skin all summer. Another great reason I love this brush is because it has a sponge attachment to apply foundation flawlessly, I talked all about it && you can check that out in this skincare review.
  • Gnarly Whale Green Tea Toner – I can promise you, if you try this your skin will thank you and you will be thanking me! It’s pretty awesome, I love all Gnarly Whale products but this Green Tea Toner is amazing, it’ll really come in handy in Fall while you’re transitioning into a winter skincare routine! Don’t forget if you pick one up you can use the code ‘Hairspray20’ for 20% off your entire purchase!
MAKEUP
  • City Color BB Cream – For Fall, I usually don’t want or need a heavy foundation especially if I am still trying to extend that summer glow. Going with a BB cream like this one is an awesome alternative, and the best part is it’s super affordable. I reviewed the City Color BB Cream if you want some more info & swatches!
  • Maybelline Color Tattoos – I absolutely love these cream shadows and with bright colors like tenacious teal, pomegranate punk, & fierce and tangy your fall eye look will be complete!
  • Pumpkin Cheesecake Lip Balm – This lip balm is a Fall beauty must have! It tastes & smells of Fall, what more could you ask for?
  • NYC Bronzer In Sunny – I’m pretty sure this bronzer lands on just about every list I ever make and I am no less obsessed with it. It’s perfect for Fall to help keep that summer glow lasting longer!
NAIL POLISH
  • BARIELLE ‘Nude & Naughty’ 5 Pack – This five pack is definitely going to be my go-to/most used shades for Fall, I tend to favor brights but this is the perfect pack and has something for everyone!!
Let’s check out what the lovely Carly has to share, shall we?
Hello all! I’m Carly from Lipgloss & Crayons, and I’m obsessed with beauty products….so obviously I’m also obsessed with Ange! I love hearing her recommendations….and am excited to share a few of my own!
Pantone Beauty Products
/ emerald green polish / mykonos blue polish / deep lichen shadow / linden green eye pencil / vivacious lipstick / samba lipstick / koi eyeshadow/ acai liner / turbulence and carafe eyeshadows /
I’m in love with the Pantone Fashion Color Report for Fall, I want clothing items in EVERY color. While thinking of makeup items for this piece, it occurred to me that a touch of makeup in one of the season’s hottest colors would be a perfect addition to a simple, neutral outfit. My personal fall favorites? A deep red lip inspired by Samba with a simple, nude eye or an emerald green nail.

1️⃣ My hair has been over 50 different colors. Some of them all at the same time. It’s naturally blonde though⠀⁣
⠀⁣
2️⃣ I went to an all girls catholic high school and was asked not to take Spanish 3 because I talked too much 🤣⠀⁣

3️⃣ I have two cats, a dog, and a husband that I’ve been with since I was 16 years old⠀⁣

4️⃣ I’m a double ♊️ which means I’m talkative, fiercely loyal and endlessly curious. Paired with being an enneagram 8 and it probably also means I’m a little bit psycho 🤣⠀⁣

5️⃣ I listen to murder podcasts to fall asleep.⠀⁣

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
