DIY COFFEE SUGAR SCRUB
Happy Monday! The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to start thinking about what types of gifts you’re going to be giving out. I have an obsession with gift’s in jars. They’re super easy to make and super cute! Today for y’all I have a recipe for a diy coffee sugar scrub and at the end of the post you can download the printable to make the labels for your jars! How fun is that? I love it! I chose a diy coffee sugar scrub because it’s a great rejuvenating diy face mask. It gently exfoliates while fighting off acne and brightening your face while reducing redness.
HOW TO MAKE A DIY COFFEE SUGAR SCRUB:
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Ground Coffee
- 1/2 cup Used Ground Coffee
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Cinnamo
DIRECTIONS
- Pour sugar and coffee grounds into medium sized bowl.
- Mix in coconut oil (add more if you like a wet consistency).
- Add cinnamon and mix well.
- Place mixture in the jar.
- Add a Label to the front and maybe a ribbon to gift.
See? This diy coffee sugar scrub is super easy and will make the perfect gift for the beauty lovers in your life! You could even make this into a favor for a bridal or baby shower! The labels really make it pop, like you put a lot more time into then you did, so I wanted to give y’all a way to make those labels and offer a free printable to download so you can do just that!

This looks awesome! I made a “sugar and spice” sugar scrub last year for small Christmas gifts. This looks like it would be a great alternative. I have a good friend who LOVES coffee, so this would be perfect.
I do have one question though. Would it leave a temporary staining or tinting on skin because of the coffee?
I know what I’m giving my SIL for Christmas now! She’s a new mom and a coffee fanatic! This will be perfect! She could use some pampering! 🙂
This is such an awesome idea, thank you! I have been saving up my spaghetti sauce jars and using them to make brown sugar scrubs for Christmas gifts, but I never thought about using coffee!
I’m going to try to make this for myself. I think I’d love the cinnamon smell.
I love little handmade gifts around the holiday season but they always seem like so much work. This sugar scrub looks so easy though! I may have to try my hand at a gift or two this year!
I absolutely LOVE this idea. I love mixing a little Frankincense essential oil in my coconut oil for a moisturizer.
I have never made a body scrub before. I like the idea and may give it a try.
Yes! What a great idea, I totally want to make these for holiday gifts. It must smell awesome!

I’ve been making something similar to this for a few years now and it smells SO GOOD. I love DIY gifts for friends and family, they show real thought and effort.
I have some girlfriends who would be thrilled if I made this for them. I love your printable.

This is a great gift idea…I think I need to do something like this for our local friends. Family is far away and I worry what would happen with shipping.
oh, 2 of my favorite things- sugar scrub and coffee!
I love that the caffeine will help perk up your skin, too!
Coffee sugar scrub!!! I am so trying this for DIY Holiday gifts. We are avid coffee drinkers in this house, what a neat way to recycle the grounds. Sounds very interesting.
Um, COFFEE sugar scrub? YES PLEASE. I actually NEED to make this because the other night I was planning to wear lipstick so I was scouring my cupboards for a lip sugar scrub I could’ve sworn I had and found a body sugar scrub which I didn’t think to be any different.. long story short my mouth was tasting like soap for ages. Sooo yeah, this is on the to do list.
I have never made my own coffee sugar scrub but I have used a shop-bought one and it was AWESOME! My skin felt great and after using it for a couple of weeks I could really see a difference in my skin texture. This is definitely a great gift idea for any lady looking to look good & feel great during & after the festive season.
Oh a coffee scrub. I never thought of one of those.
This is such a great idea! Thanks!
What a great, homemade, inexpensive gift idea!
I’m just getting around to reading this because I’ve been slacking, but can this be made without the coconut oil and maybe use another kind of oil or something else?
