Fruit For Your Skin

 

Fruits are a great group of foods that are delicious, good for you, and they provide you so many benefits for all parts of your body! Certain fruits are particularly good for you skin, whether it’s providing soft supple skin or some fruits even provide a clear complexion. Here are a few that are especially good fruit for your skin!

Banana –  Most people already know that bananas are a good source of iron and potassium but a lot of people don’t know that bananas are also FULL of vitamins A, B, and E. With the combination of all of these fruits they work as a great anti-aging agent. You can make your own fresh mashed banana facial and trust me it will provide AMAZING benefits for your skin after you leave it on for a few minutes!

Lemons – Another really good fruit for your skin is the lemon! Lemons are full of Vitamin C, the juice from a lemon will help to keep your skin looking gorgeous! The lemon juice contains a ton of astringents and these can be used to lighten the skin tone and help to diminish any terrible acne scars you have been left with from your awful teenage years!

Apple – The Apple  has a lot of antioxidants in them; therefore eating apples can be great for your skin. Antioxidants make your skin strong and prevent cell and tissue damage!

Oranges – Another great fruit that benefits your skin is the orange! Oranges contain a rich amount of vitamin C that helps to improve your skin texture. This will also help to clear any skin blemishes and leave your skin looking and feeling soft!

Papaya – The papaya is another fruit that is rich in antioxidants and papayas contain a special enzyme called papain that can kill and dead cells and cure skin impurities. Papaya is a great fruit to eat if you have a lot of wounds or scabs, its enzymes will help to heal these skin abrasions. You can eat the papaya or simply just put it directly on the skin!

Mango – One final fruit that is good for your skin is the Mango. The mango is full of Vitamin A and contains a ton of rich antioxidants! The mango fights against any skin aging, helps to regenerate skin cells, and restores the elasticity of the skin!

As you can see a lot of fruits are really beneficial for your skin and also your overall health! Start eating!

    This is AWESOME stuff …… I want to make a smoothie with all of these fruits right now!!!!! I’ve always been a fruit eater but I definitely had (and occasionally have) issues with acne. The health benefits are just too obvious to ignore. Thanks for sharing, I’m pinning too so I’ll have this bookmarked. =)

    I eat apples, bananas, oranges, mangos. Everyone says that I look like I’am forty I ‘am going to be fifty seven this August. You eat healthy food you look eat junk you look like junk.

We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣

I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
