Lancôme DreamTone Review

December 4, 2013

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of  Lancôme & She Speaks. All opinions are 100% my own.

Lancôme DreamTone

Recently I had the chance to try out the  Lancôme DreamTone, a serum specially formulated to reduce the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone and color imperfections.  This customized skin tone correcting serum is so powerful, 72% of women dare to bare their skin.* I have been using it for about three weeks now, twice a day before my moisturizer.

Amazing Results:

IMMEDIATELY:
• 74% saw glowing skin*

7 DAYS:
• 70% noticed a more even skin tone*

4 WEEKS:
• 69% saw the appearance of dark spots reduced*

8 WEEKS:
• 78% saw color imperfections reduced*

Lancome DreamTone

It comes in 3 serums customized for your skin tone: 1- Fair, 2 – Medium, 3 – Dark. Obviously, since I am Casper the friendly ghost over here, I went with fair. I’m thinking I could have gotten away with medium just because of how much redness I tend to need to cover up on my face. Once you apply the serum, it’s barely noticeable and I could just go about my regular makeup routine as usual.

Lancome DreamTone

My Results:

IMMEDIATELY:

My skin was starting to even out with a bit more of a glow then usual. I could tell the dark spots under my eyes were starting to diminish.

7 DAYS:

My skintone had really started to even out at this point after using the Lancôme DreamTone twice daily. It was at this point that I started to notice that my redness was starting to calm down.

3 WEEKS:

Color imperfections that I had previously had around my nose and eyes were drastically reduced, while I am still showing signs of redness, it’s more of a flushed color and not as windburn like as it usually looks.

Lancome DreamTone BareSelfie

I’m thrilled with the results I am seeing, and I would absolutely give this a 5 star rating!! I plan to continue with this product and I am hoping that it continues to change my skin in the best way possible!

For best results, apply the product twice per day, in the morning and evening under your moisturizer. Lancôme DreamTone retails for $98 for a 1.3 fl oz. bottle and is available for purchase at Lancôme.com and department stores nationwide. After you grab yours, you can go ahead and join the movement with Lancôme, and create a #bareselfie to share with @LancomeUSA!

*All results based on global self-assessments of women of multiple ethnicities in an 8-week study. 72% reflects 8 weeks of use.

Lancôme has great products. Sadly the older I get the more under eye problems and skincare products I need. Thankfully great ones like this are out there though.

The Global Burden of Armed Violence 2014 database shows that between 2007 and 2012, on average, 60,000 women were killed violently around the world. ⁣

A total of 87,000 women were intentionally killed in 2017. More than half of them (58 per cent) ̶ 50,000 ̶ were killed by intimate partners or family members, meaning that 137 women across the world are killed by a member of their own family every day. More than a third (30,000) of the women intentionally killed in 2017 were killed by their current or former intimate partner ̶ someone they would normally expect to trust.⁣

1️⃣ My hair has been over 50 different colors. Some of them all at the same time. It’s naturally blonde though⠀⁣

4️⃣ I’m a double ♊️ which means I’m talkative, fiercely loyal and endlessly curious. Paired with being an enneagram 8 and it probably also means I’m a little bit psycho 🤣⠀⁣

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
⁣
