UPDATE 11/13/2014: I want to share an update with you all about the trademark letter I received, which may have been what brought you to this post via Twitter. The law firm that sent it on behalf of Manic Panic did so without informing the brand itself. I’ve been in contact with them (Manic Panic) via email throughout the day and to say that they are sorry, is an understatement. They went above and beyond in their apologies. I greatly appreciate them reaching out to me numerous times and their willingness to do everything they needed to do to rectify the situation. Unfortunately in business, things happen and I for one can understand that. The owners and the employees of Manic Panic were beyond mortified with the situation and I 100% believe after speaking with them that it was never their intention. Again, they really did go above and beyond to rectify this situation. I am confident that they are a brand I can still stand behind and trust, which at the end of the day is what upset me the most. I thoroughly enjoyed using and recommending their products, while as of last night I didn’t feel I would be able to support them going forward; after discussing this with them today, I feel like I can. Which is all I really wanted, I wanted them to recognize that it was not OK and they more then did that, they went out of their way to contact me and make sure they could fix this unfortunate situation set forth by an unfortunate firm. I really do believe they are truly sorry and never meant for any of this to happen. I also believe that they, along with the owners, employees and general counsel have made great strides into ensuring this never happens again. I genuinely appreciate that.
UPDATE 11/12/2014 :
I DO NOT WORK FOR YOUNIQUE. I DID NOT CREATE THEIR LIPGLOSS. I JUST REVIEWED THE PRODUCTS. Unfortunately, the review and photos of that lipgloss from YOUNIQUE are no longer included in this post because of the photos you will see below(redacted). This is also why, I will NEVER support Manic Panic again, a brand that I actually use and used to love. If their business is to bully a blogger with a threatening letter for a product review post of a product that I didn’t make or name, they can keep their products, I don’t want them.
Recently I had the opportunity to try out a few items from Younique Products and I wanted to share them with y’all today. Younique’s mission is to uplift, empower, validate and ultimately help build the self-esteem of women around the world. Through high-quality products that encourage these core values – along with spiritual enlightenment – they’re enabling opportunities for personal growth and financial reward to women everywhere.
Ever wanted to get that false eyelash look but you’re not wanting to spend money of false lashes, don’t know how to apply them, or just want to do it quicker? Younique Products 3D Fiber Lashes allow you to do just that. Provides a 300% increase to your lashes that looks completely natural. Packaged in two separate bottles, the Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers are used together to enhance and magnify your OWN lashes.
I was thrilled with the results when trying out the Younique Products fiber lashes. Quick and easy to ‘apply’ you use your everyday mascara, a coat of the transplanting gel (which is a simple mascara wand) and a coat of the ‘fibers’ and you’re finished. It instantly adds volume and length to your OWN lashes without having to apply false lashes.
Younique Lip Gloss – $15
The next products I got to try were two of the Younique products lip glosses that I have to say I am completely love, love, loving! A rich spread of color, very smooth and highly-pigmented — bright, bold, or subtle — collect all ten shades!
Lavish – This beauty is a super sparkly and full of glitter pink gloss. The only complaint I have is it is so packed with glitter that I could physically feel the texture of the glitter on my lips so it was a bit strange. But after applying some clear gloss over top it seemed to do the trick! I can definitely see myself wearing this one on the daily!
Have you tried Younique Products?
