BEAUTY PRODUCTS FOR PALE SKIN

Hi friends! We’re currently snowed in and I am majorly miserable from caffeine withdrawal (trying to quit Pepsi is NOT fun) but it is giving me time to work on my fitness & try out some of these super fun healthy recipes! I’m sticking to my Weight Watchers plan in combination with eMeals and I’ll have an update on that soon!

For today though,  I want to share some of my favorite beauty products for pale skin! Let’s get serious, ladies… us pale girls have to stick together and share the wealth! The sad truth is there are just some products that we can’t use, certain bronzers that are too orange, blush that’s too bright, highlighters that match our skin and foundations that aren’t light enough. I struggle with finding favorites in these categories because they’re are mostly made for people who don’t make a regular appearance as Casper the friendly ghost like this girl! Beauty products for pale skin that work great from the first try are few and far between and I have six today that absolutely top my list as being the best of the best!

MAYBELLINE DREAM LUMI HIGHLIGHTER  \\ $7.99  \\ This is a new find for me but in the last few months I have grown to absolutely adore it! It’s the perfect shade that it’s almost white and illuminated so it stands out on my otherwise pale skin!

PHYSICIAN’S FORMULA HAPPY BOOSTER BLUSH  \\ $11.99 \\ Anyone with blue or green eyes will love this. The perfect shade of pink that really makes your cheeks pop.

URBAN DECAY NAKED 3  \\  $52  \\  I have searched high and low for a palette that didn’t have as many dark shades in it Naked 1 and 2 just didn’t do it for me, they’d wash me out or make me look muddy. So when this was announced I yelped with joy! You can see my review of it here with the swatches and see just why I love it!

BENEFIT ‘THAT GIRL’  \\ $29  \\  This silky pink face primer is about as amazing as they come! It really works well at brightening up your skin and prepping it for makeup!

BENEFIT ‘HOOLA’ BRONZER  \\  $28 \\ A matte bronzer that isn’t too ‘orangey’? Love it! One of my favorites for sure, it goes on light and gives me a sun kissed look.

REVLON NEARLY NAKED FOUNDATION  \\  $9.99  \\ This is a brand and line that has extremely light shades so it’s almost certain that they would have something to fit your skintone. I always end up with a foundation that ends up being a little darker than my actual shade when shopping for drugstore products but this one matches completely!

The beauty products for pale skin are absolutely favorites of mine and always in my go-to makeup bag! If you’re loving these maybe you can find more products to love for more then just one skintone 😉 in my High End Makeup Kit or Drugstore Makeup Kit && there’s always fun to be had on the Beauty Products Under $10 list!

Are you a pale gal? What are your favorite products?

Nice suggestions! I would also add Korean-made BB creams to this list, because even us super pale girls can find one that matches our skin tone.

I’m not very pale but I’d still like to try the Dream Lumi Highlighters!

I’ve been wanting to try a primer. I’ve been using BB cream, and I like it, but I want to give primer a shot too.

I have the pink Happy blush, and love it. Which color do you suggest? The listing you linked to on Ulta shows the same color for all three options. I’m not sure which one they’re showing, but the pink one is different shades of pink – no brownish ones at all.

Ange you’re speaking my language! All these products are great for us pale girls!!! I especially love Naked 3. You’re right, perfection for us! And it looks really great with my blue eyes and blonde hair! (not to sound vain , but it honestly does heheh!)

While I’m a Mary Kay girl through and through, it’s nice to see other cosmetic companies paying attention to us pale gals! I’m the redheaded, freckled kind of pale, so I’m not ghostly white, but I could never find anything specifically for my shade of pale!

Growing up, I was the palest girl I knew. Even now, I could use a little color! lol. BB creams are my go-to, especially the Korean ones.

This is so helpful! I have pale skin as well. I’ve used that Physician’s formula blush, Naked 3 and That Gal and I totally agree. I will have to try the other three now. Thanks for the recommendations. I’m sure I’ll love the bronzer since I love Benefit, but do I need another bronzer?!? Of course!

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
⁣
