Makeup Tips To Enhance Your Look

Makeup Tips L'Oreal #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

Hi Friends! I’m always on the lookout for new products and makeup tips that will enhance my look in the simplest of ways and for the best value. You see, I’m a simple girl. I don’t find it necessary to pack on tons of makeup. I want a quick and easy way to find products that will not only add to my look, make me feel more confident and give me the ability to feel beautiful in my own skin. That’s why shopping at Walgreens for the latest beauty product trends is one of my favorite things to do!

L'Oreal Walgreens Display #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

L'Oreal Walgreens Display 2 #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

You can see why it’s one of my favorite things to do! Walgreens really is the ultimate beauty destination! Especially when you’re looking for L’Oreal beauty products! I could stand and stare at these displays for hours looking at all the amazing products! Knowing already that I wanted some products that would enhance my look this year I decided to look for a mascara, eyeliner, highlighter and a primer! These are four products that will absolutely help to accent certain features giving you a bold look for your eyes and a simply glowing face!

L'Oreal Makeup Tips #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

I have a few makeup tips to share with y’all today and the great news is you can achieve this enhanced look with a few staple products from L’Oreal that are easily available at your local Walgreens! Like I said, I knew which products I needed to add in to my routine so it was an easy choice for me while picking out products! Again I am a simple girl so I don’t need much!

L'Oreal Beauty Products #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

The first product that I added to my makeup bag was the L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer. I picked this because it’s always good to start fresh and have a good base before applying your makeup! This primer will give you an enlightened complexion and instant illumination preparing your skin for other products and helping to keep your makeup in place from day to night. One of the greatest makeup tips I can give you is to invest in a highlighter. This will add simple highlights on different parts of your face. I recommend applying it to your t-zone, down your nose, a bit under your eyes, cupids bow, chin and a little on your brow line for slight enhancements to really bring out your gorgeous features. I went with the L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighter in Fair and it was just what I needed! After deciding on the products I needed for my face I knew the next feature I would want to focus on and enhance a bit were my eyes. A dark eyeliner used for tight-lining your upper lash line and lining your water line is a product you want to be sure to have on hand. I feel like you can go out with just eyeliner and mascara on some days and still look like a million bucks.  I chose the L’Oreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner because I knew that it would give me the intensity of a liquid liner but in pencil form. It’s smudge free so you’re getting 16 hours of wear out of this little baby without having to worry. Now, you can’t begin to think about enhancing your look in 2014 without a mascara. It’s a staple and is always needed. Mascara is the one product that I will not leave the house without so I was super excited to try out the L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara.  It’s makeup artist approved, has an innovative Butterfly Brush, with asymmetrical lash line shape extends and lifts outer corner lashes to give you a winged-out effect, instantly volumizing lashes at the roots and stretching lashes outward. The unique Cocoon Fibers™ instantly wrap lashes in a soft, delicate veil to create silky, spectacular lashes that flutter. This was a favorite for me! The Butterfly Mascara really enhanced my eyes and went so well with all of the L’Oreal beauty products that I picked up from Walgreens! It was super easy to put them all together creating a simple way to enhance my look for this year! I hope you all take some of my makeup tips, head out to Walgreens and browse the beauty department for your very own L’Oreal products that will help YOU enhance your look this year!

L'Oreal Enhance Your Look #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

I feel like the L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara really brings out my eyes, it definitely adds some much needed volume and lets them stand up on their own. Usually when I apply mascara to enhance my eyes and my look I find myself having to apply quite a few coats and with the Butterfly Mascara I only had to use one to get such big (for me) lashes! That’s really an accomplishment! I am absolutely loving this mascara! That’s why I am so jealous of all my New York City girls…

L'Oreal Butterfly Mascara Launch Event #WalgreensBeauty #shop #cbias

You read that right! If you’re going to be in the New York City area on Wednesday the 15th between the hours of 11am and 3pm you can head on over to the Walgreens in Times Square for the L’Oreal Paris Butterfly Mascara Launch Event. There will even be in-store eye make-overs so you’ll get the chance to see one of my favorite mascaras in action and learn how to use it to really enhance your eyes! This is a can’t miss event! You have to go and get your eyes done, I can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
