Fun story, I hate foundation. Is that weird? I don’t know why I just feel like it takes me F-O-R-E-V-E-R to find one that works, does what it says and matches my very light skin tone. There’s a reason there are only six of the best foundations on my list and that’s because when it comes to them I am SUPER picky and I always, always go back to these guys depending on the situation. Whenever I try something new out I am almost instantly unimpressed and just swap out for one that I know is amazing, which is always one of the six we’re going to talk about today. As I write this I am actually trying out three different foundations and I’m hoping at least one of them can make it into the best pile and maybe this list can grow in a few months. For now though, the best foundations that work for this pale gal are right here on this list!

6 of the Best Foundations with light to full coverage! They work for pale gals! #makeup #beautytips

Stila Perfect & Correct Foundation • Stila • $44.00 – I love this because it’s super lightweight, offers buildable coverage and gives you a glowing look. This is perfect for all skin types. Perfect and Correct reads and reacts to the skin’s needs and targets skin imperfections to correct them.  I can use this on the hottest day in the Summer and coldest day of Winter and get the same perfect results.

Wet n Wild CoverAll Cream Foundation Fair • Wet n Wild • $2.79 – This is a favorite because of the matte finish. Super lightweight & buildable as well. This offers medium to full coverage and really helps to cover up an blemishes. When I’m using this I know I don’t have to put concealer anywhere except for my under eye circles which need a bit more love because this does a fantastic job of covering everything. If nothing else this needed to be on the best foundation list because of price alone! HELLO fabulous & affordable!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Liquid Makeup SPF 18 Creamy Ivory 120 • Maybelline • $11.99 – I have a fan of this one from the very beginning! Instantly erases lines and wrinkles, masks blemishes and gives your skin a tight look. I haven’t found a shade in the lightest of colors that really works for me but I can mix two and get a pretty good match but the darker shades work awesome when I am spray tanning! This is fine for all skin types as well.

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup • Revlon • $9.99 – This one is on my Makeup For Pale Skin list because it’s SO perfect for us lighter girls. I truly love this foundation and if I had to pick one forever, it’d most likely be this!! With buildable coverage and seamless blending, you are sure to cover flaws and perfect your skin’s tone and texture. No heavy cakey or greasy mess.

Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup Buff • Revlon • $13.79 – Buildable coverage from super light to full. It goes on super smooth and is extremely easy to blend. This has the longest wear time out of all of the foundations on this list. Feels ultra light when it’s on and great for all skin types.

Chanel VitaLumiere Aqua – $45 – Ok, so this is probably the most expensive foundation I have ever bought in my life and to be honest when I tried out the samples (the counter will send you home with a weeks worth!) I wanted to hate it because ZOMG. Unfortunately for my wallet, I fell in love. This is a cult favorite AND with good reason. Super light and goes on super smooth! The fluid formula has a soft, water-light texture, and comes in 10 shades that match perfectly to skin’s undertones, whether pink or beige.

The Chanel foundation literally feels like nothing is on your face and it has good coverage. My skin is velvet soft from it! I agree with you on the price but nothing else compares!

    Love your posts!

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
