Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne System Review + Giveaway

Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne System

The key to a clear complexion is using a skin care regimen that uses combination salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide as its acne fighting ingredients.  The Clear Proof Acne System from Mary Kay uses this approach! The system includes a Clarifying Cleansing Gel, Blemish Control Toner, Acne Treatment Gel and an Oil-Free Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin and works together to attack acne in multiple ways – it not only clears up existing acne but also helps keep future acne from forming in the first place.

I’ve got combination skin and more often than not I usually lean on the dry side of things. Breakouts have never been an issue for me, sure every once in awhile I’d get a dreaded pimple but for the most part I have been lucky enough to have pretty clear skin. Until recently, I don’t know if it’s stress or that time of the month but breakouts have seemed to attacked me with full force. I needed something in my routine that was going to treat this and prevent anything from getting worse. The Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne System is said to show results within 7 days.

Mary Kay Clear Proof Cleansing Gel

Clarifying Cleansing Gel gives the skin a deep clean, removing dirt, excess oil and impurities. The salicylic acid formula helps to reduce the shine and unclog pores to help achieve clearer skin. I love that this was a gel, I always for whatever reason feel like I get a better cleanse with gel products.

Mary Kay Clear Proof Blemish Control Toner

Blemish Control Toner removes dead skin cells to help keep pores from clogging and prevent new pimples from forming. The salicylic acid-based formula cleanses skin completely to help tighten pores and appear less noticeable to give you healthy, clearer skin.

Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel

Acne Treatment Gel penetrates and clears pores to target bacteria and visible reduce a pimples redness. The benzoyl peroxide product absorbs bacteria quickly to help reduce the number of pimples, and allows the skin to heal and prevent future breakouts.

Mary Kay Clear Proof Oil Free Moisturizer For Acne Prone Skin

Oil-Free Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin is a fast- absorbing, lightweight, non-pore-clogging formula that helps provide your skinniest the balanced hydration it needs. The formula helps control shine and excess oil to leave skin feeling nourished and healthier.

I used the Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne System for about 13 days but I could have told you after 3 that I enjoyed it. It has completely cleared the breakouts that I was experiencing and I haven’t seen any since.  It took about 7 days for everything to clear up but like I said on the third day I knew they were getting the boot. I really loved that the toner, tones without drying me out. The moisturizer was amazing. The only thing I could say as a con, is the scent. It’s super overwhelming but does fade away in an hour or so.  The Clear Proof System from Mary Kay is available for $45 and individual products range from $10 to $17.

The best part? The lovely people over at Mary Kay are offering to send one lucky Hairspray and Highheels their very own Clear Proof Acne System! Enter below for your chance to win, you must be a US resident and 18+ or older. Void where prohibited by law.

In 2019, Turkey had nearly 500 RECORDED femicides. ⁣

The Global Burden of Armed Violence 2014 database shows that between 2007 and 2012, on average, 60,000 women were killed violently around the world. ⁣
⁣
A total of 87,000 women were intentionally killed in 2017. More than half of them (58 per cent) ̶ 50,000 ̶ were killed by intimate partners or family members, meaning that 137 women across the world are killed by a member of their own family every day. More than a third (30,000) of the women intentionally killed in 2017 were killed by their current or former intimate partner ̶ someone they would normally expect to trust.⁣

#WomenSupportingWomen looks a lot like putting in work to actively combat and also recognize violence against women. It looks like voting for political figures who don’t want to take the rights of women away. It looks like donating to causes that actively fight for these women. ⁣

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
