Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days

March 16, 2015

I participated in the NIOXIN Challenge blog program as a member of One2One Network. I received compensation but all opinions are my own.

Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days!

We’ve chatted a little bit about this before, I am on a quest for thicker hair. I’ve always had super fine hair and since I’ve been getting older it’s thinned out a bit. It’s chemically treated and I dye it about once every 6-8 weeks. Sometimes it’s just my roots and sometimes it all over color. That definitely doesn’t help in the thinning department. I’ve tried lots of things and for awhile I had something that I thought was working but my hair sort of got used to it so it was time to switch it up. Time for the #NIOXINChallenge

NIOXIN uses advanced technologies to deliver thicker, fuller, denser-looking hair. Their commitment to innovation, supported by 25 years of research, enables them to be able to help more than 3 out of 4 men and women in the U.S. who experienced thinning hair. NIOXIN’s innovative solutions have gained industry recognition year after year. NIOXIN’s advanced technologies provide real solutions for making the most of the hair you have, transforming the hair care industry and bringing hope and confidence to men and women and everywhere. Each of the six System Kits includes an easy to use daily regimen consisting of three steps, to help nourish the scalp and give you thicker, denser-looking hair, in 30 Days, guaranteed.

Contouring with elf blush and bronzing powder. So before we get into this let’s just call out the elephant in the room, my before picture I am a brunette and my after I have bright pink to red reversed ombre hair. Instead of fixating on the colors, look at the thickness between the two and you will see just how awesome Nioxin can be. I have a tiny bit of volume and thickness here but I still wanted more.

Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days!

For the last 30+ days I have been using system 4, a 3 part system kit from Nioxin.  Each system consists of a Shampoo, Conditioner & Treatment. Specially designed for noticeably thinning, fine, chemically treated hair. It delivers denser-looking hair while protecting the scalp and providing moisture balance to colored hair

Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days!

Helps to remove follicle-clogging sebum , fatty acids and environmental residues from the scalp skin and hair. Cleanses to provide thicker-looking hair.

Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days!

A lightweight conditioner that helps provide hair resilience and control moisture balance.

Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days!

Contains antioxidants and botanicals that help to provide a refreshed scalp environment.

Thicker, Fuller Hair in 30 Days!

And there we have it, 30 days later. No styling and no product. It has life breathed back into it on it’s own. And that’s awesome, in my opinion. I knew this system was working as soon as I started using it because I could feel the tingling. I like products that you can actually feel working for you. After just a few days I could already tell the difference. I am impressed and will definitely be repurchasing!

And because everyone deserves great hair, I am teaming up with NIOXIN to give you,  a complete 3 part system just like I have been using.  All you need to do is tell me in the comments below your  hair type!

I’ve been using this too… I love it, I use it more once a week to take the build up out of my hair and as a scalp treatment. I’ve not noticed a difference that it makes to my hair though, I’ll try to use it for a week to see if there is a change. I have switch shampoo’s though I can’t use the same one over again. I can’t even use conditioner half the time because it’s so heavy on my hair, which is too fine. I linked above my review on this Nioxin

I’ve always wanted to try Nioxin on my super thin hair. I feel like since my 30 it doesn’t really grow either.

I can really see a difference in your before and after pictures. Very impressive! I don’t think I look for thicker hair — as I have a good bit of hair naturally — but I look for products to give me healthier hair. I feel like my hair can get so dry and frizzy…I’m always looking for hair oils or masks that can revive it and give me glossy, healthy locks 🙂

I have been really sick for the last 2 years. My body has not been processing the nutrients I eat. Therefore, my already very fine, straight hair is much thinner. I have always had very fine hair but I also always had a lot of it. Now it is thinning and falling out by the brush full! This could help me regrow the hair that I have lost.

Very interesting. I LOVE your hair in the after shot. Just curious, did it leave your hair feeling soft still? I’ve noticed sometimes with products that I’ve used to “thicken” my hair that they make it feel coarser.

My hair is curly, color-treated that tends to get oily.

Yep, super soft. I can’t handle products that give that dry feeling.

Wow. Your results are incredible. I would love to see if it would work for my very fine colored older strands. I’ve been looking and tried numerous products over th least 10 years. Hopeful.

Curly and thinning. I used this years ago and didn’t see any difference. I would be interested to see if the newer products work for me this time around.

Have had thin strawberry blond hair all my life. When it turned gray a few years ago I began having it streaked with blond highlights. They told me that if I colored my hair it would be thicker, however, that didn’t happen. I would love to have hair that is thicker and would love to try Nioxin.

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
