Must Have Products: April Favorites

We haven’t chatted about any standouts or monthly favorites here in awhile so I thought it would be super fun to put an April favorites post together and show y’all some of the stuff I have been loving lately. A lot of it has been stuff that I’ve been using since early this year. So let’s just jump right in, let me know if we share any of the same faves!

Michael Todd Eye Eraser

First up is the Michael Todd eye eraser which has quickly become one of my most loved tools. It’s an anti-aging infusion device. Which basically means that it maximizes the absorption of serums and creams applied to the face and eye area. The result is a more youthful, well-rested look. I love pairing it with an eye serum and really getting the feeling that it’s aiding the product in absorption. It’s pretty cool.

Combining sonic, ionic and thermal infusion technology in one, the Eye Eraser promotes natural collagen and elastin formation with a series of gentle micro-massages, while ionic infusion and thermal warming maximize the effectiveness of serums and moisturizers.

The warming action temporarily relaxes the pore lining for increased product absorption. Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Promotes natural collagen and elastin formation. I love the little vibration it has, it’s actually pretty relaxing.

Kiehl's Correcting Serum

Actually one of my favorite products to pair with the eye eraser is what I want to share with y’all next. Kiehl’s Super Multi-Correcting Eye-Opening Serum. This is like the super hero of skincare. A 5-in-1 solution for the eye area! I love how easily absorbs and how hydrated my eye area looks and feels after each use.

Lift, firm, smooth, hydrate, and restore youthful shape of the eye. Skin around the eye area looks visibly firmer, lifted and skin texture looks more refines in less than one week. 95% of women showed a significant improvement in eye opening.

After a few weeks of use I could see that eye are looked significantly brighter and over all more firm. The dark circles that stalk me were few and far between and I find that I look more awake.

Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate

Another product from Kiehl’s is in the line up this month. The Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate. I think y’all know that I have a serious serum addiction and this is one of the absolute BEST. This serum is SO hydrating. If you’ve had a long winter and your skin is a bit dry and dull, this will be perfect for you. I’ve got combination skin but this winter killed me. It has brought that fresh faced glow back to my complexion.

A serum concentrate that gives new life to dull, tired skin. Utilizes next generation Serum-to-Liquid Technology™ to intensively hydrate skin’s deepest surface layers. Clinically demonstrated to help correct the signs of age-related dehydration. Youthfully plumps skin, smoothing the appearance of fine lines & rough texture. Formulated with a potent complex of 15% plant-based Glycerin and Shiso Leaf Extract.

Plumps is the perfect description for this product if I had to put it into one word. It brightens your skin and just gives it that youthful appearance that I think those us over 30 so deeply crave and want to hang on to, right?

Out of Africa Lip Balm

You know what else winter wreaked havoc on? My lips. They are seriously so cracked and dry that I feel like I am a one stop shop for sad. I usually am pretty loyal to Baby Lips in my lip balm craze and while they’re fine for an hour or two they just don’t get the job done so I needed something to handle my issues. The skin on our lips is very thin and does not produce oil on its own, it is vital to keep them moisturized so they do not become chapped. Out of Africa Pure Shea Butter lip balms are my besties. To prevent this dryness, Out of Africa‘s Pure Shea Butter Lip Balm is loaded with beneficial nutrients including healthy fatty acids and antioxidant vitamins A, E & F. Plus, this smooth formula is never drying or sticky and will melt on your lips. I’m partial to the Orange Cream flavor. It tastes like summer.

As nature’s own miracle moisturizer loaded with antioxidants, Out of Africa‘s 100% Pure Shea Butter LipBalm in Orange Cream does more than taste like the delicious treat, it provides natural healing and moisture to keep lips kissably soft and supple. With 30%of this formula being unrefined shea butter, this balm offers the highest percentage of shea on the market (Most only have 1 to 2%).

Osmosis Clear - Activating Mist

The first thing that I notice about this product was the name. Osmosis just sounds cool. I’m weird, I know. Anywho, the Osmosis Clear Activating Mist is pretty neat. It’s a facial mist that helps to even skin tone. I’ve never met a product that evens skin tone in spray form so I was immediately intrigued. I have redness and dark spots so it’s definitely something I look to in my skin care routine.

Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare Clear – Activating Mist helps maintain a healthy complexion with stabilizing harmonized water. This formula is mixed with an anti-viral, bacterial and fungal to control your skin’s natural levels of bacteria. The spray top allows for easy application for a no-mess finish. Spritz onto your face throughout the day to refresh and revitalize your skin.

I’ve been using this daily sometimes multiple times if I feel like I need some refreshing and I really enjoy it. It’s SO refreshing and I’ve definitely noticed my skin tone beginning to even out on it’s own. Another thing to note, when I use this before applying my makeup I have noticed that my makeup applies a lot easier, which I love. It also keeps it from sticking to dry patches on my skin.

Stemology Hand & Nail Cream

I feel like this all about the winter recovery products! So my hands and cuticles and nails have been dry and brittle. Because winter. So I’ve been using the Stemology Cell Renew Hand and Nail Creme Complex with StemCore3 multiple times a day. I LOVE it.

Completely addresses all the signs associated with visible aging of the hands. Rich and creamy moisturizing formula moisturizes in 3 ways instantly reviving dry, dehydrated skin, while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Natural antioxidants prevent the formation of free radicals in sun-exposed skin and help to fade unwanted sun spots while evening skin tone.

They are SO right when they say instantly. As soon as you use it your hands feel instantly more moisturized and they stay that way for hours. It’s one of if not thee best products I’ve used on my hands. And I’m a lotion addict so that’s saying a lot!

The eye serum sounds great. I like serums, especially for the eye area.

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
