It’s DIY time, get excited!! You know we love a good diy project around here. As of late I’ve been sharing a bunch of face masks and lip scrubs so I thought it would be fun to give you a do it yourself hair mask that you can make at home and use weekly to breath a little bit of life back into your hair.
It’s super easy to put together, you only need three ingredients. It’s an all natural mask so you don’t have to worry about adding anymore chemicals to your hair. I have super dry hair from chemically treating it and heat tools so I am always looking for a way to get more moisture into it. These ingredients combine to make it a super moisturizing mask. You’re gonna use coconut oil, honey, and organic moroccan oil. I got my oil from La Muse and I am loving it. I find that the mask also helps keep my hair frizz free.
You’re going to use a tablespoon of the organic coconut oil, a tablespoon of the raw honey and a dropper full of the La Muse Moroccan Oil.
Add your honey to the coconut oil and mix well.
Once that’s mixed up go ahead and pour in your oil and then mix until well blended.
Once everything is mixed together you’re left with a nice single serving of a moisturizing hair mask. This isn’t something that you’re going to want to try to save over time, it’s a lot easier to just make it single serve.
Super easy. Mix it up. Apply. Apply from the about mid-way down you hair shaft to the ends. DO NOT apply it to your roots or you’ll be left with over moisturized hair that will tend to look a bit greasy. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and rinse with luke warm water.
I’ve teamed up with La Muse for this DIY and I wanted to share their giveaway with y’all as well!
“Did you know you can do a lot with our 100 percent pure Moroccan Oil? It’s great for moisturizing AND protecting your hair and skin! We recently challenged some of our favorite bloggers to make an all-natural recipe of five ingredients or less using our Moroccan Oil.
As you know by now, we LOVE giving back to our community so we asked each blogger to choose a charity to represent. Each charity will be given $100 and the winning blogger’s charity will receive an additional $400 donation. Enter the giveaway by voting for your favorite.” I chose National Coalition Against Domestic Violence as the charity of my choice, I’d love for you to head on over HERE and vote for my charity!
I use coconut oil alone and its ACE!
