Happy #NationalVodkaDay! I’m excited to celebrate this holiday with all of you and I figured a really fun way to do that would be with a recipe that will get you ready for another holiday. Halloween is my absolute favorite, and if any of you feel the same you will appreciate this recipe. If you’re planning a Halloween party, this is a recipe you need to serve! A raspberry martini, with a spooky twist!
Can we talk about the cute little drink tags? I found them in the candy aisle at Target and I am absolutely obsessed with them. They had all different little cute sayings on them. I went for spooky and poison for this festive cocktail.
Have you tried the Smirnoff infused vodka’s yet? Raspberry is one of my absolute favorites to play with for cocktails so I thought that this would be a fun twist for a Halloween martini.
Once you’ve got your Smirnoff Raspberry all you’ll need is fresh squeezed lime juice and fresh raspberries. It’s super easy to make this Halloween martini.
- 3 fresh raspberries
- 1½ ounces smirnoff raspberry vodka
- ½ fresh squeezed lime
- 3-6 raspberries for garnish
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the raspberries with the lime juice.
- Add the smirnoff raspberry vodka with ice.
- Shake and strain into a well chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with one raspberry and a drink tag.
If you’re unfamiliar with how to muddle the raspberry, check out our mojito post to find out how!
Definitely let me know if you decide to try out this super festive Halloween Raspberry Martini. And as a special for #NationalVodkaDay, be sure to check out some of my fab friends who have some awesome recipes of their own.
