My skin is changing. It used to be that I had combination skin, which in my opinion, was easiest to handle. I knew what to do for the extra oil in my t-zone and I knew what would handle the dry patches that would randomly show up here and there. Recently, I am all dry all the time and it has been driving me crazy. My face is lacking moisture and everything from bb cream to full coverage foundation turns to cake in minutes. I’ve been seeking out products that will alleviate that dryness. Which brings us to YESTO Coconut, a collection that your dry skin loving self is sure to love.

YESTO Coconut Ultra Hydrating Skincare

The YESto Coconut line is clinically shown to relieve dry, cracked skin. This is exactly what I needed to try to whip my skin back into shape. If you’re suffering from dry skin, combination skin or even normal skin, a little added moisture won’t hurt.

WHY COCONUT? Coconut oil is full of super-rich, hydrating fatty acids that work to smooth
and restore skin to its natural gorgeousness.

I’ve been trying out three of the products in this line and we’re going to chat a little bit about each one and their benefits. Pay attention my dry skin lovelies, we’re about to solve some of your problems.

Coconut (Cocos nucifera) is one of nature’s most multi-tasking offerings, rich in essential vitamins.
Coconut oil is light, nongreasy and exceptionally emollient.

YESTO Coconut Ultra Hydrating Skincare

I am a face mask connoisseur, if you will. If you were to come hang out in my office, I’ve literally got a face mask for every problem and every concern. I just love them. So of course, when I got my hands on this line, the Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask was first on my list to try. I had just come back from LA, where my skin took even more of a beating and got super dry to the point of cracking and itching. So I definitely needed something. I actually wish that I had this on the plane, it would have been that 10-minute boost of moisture that my skin was in such desperate need of.

Get ready for some rest and re-hydration! (Some relaxation, too!) Perfect for those with very dry skin, this indulgent 10-minute mask gives you an extra dose of moisture and TLC with a decadent blend of deeply hydrating virgin coconut and avocado oils and detoxifying natural clay. Slather it on, put up your feet and enjoy your mini moisturizing break. Plush pillows and soothing tunes not included, but definitely encouraged!

Apply a generous layer of mask over cleansed skin (avoiding eyes and mouth). Let dry for 10 minutes while you mellow out and relax. Gently remove with a warm, damp cloth and apply Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer for the ultimate hydration experience.

Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Bentonite, Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Coconut Alkanes, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Galactoarabinan, Glyceryl Stearate, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Titanium Dioxide, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Honey, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Juice, Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Seed Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Morinda Citrifolia (Noni) Fruit Extract, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Psidium Guajava (Guava) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Propanediol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum). *Certified Organic Ingredient

I immediately saw and felt results with this mask. I could feel my skin just soaking it in and once I rinsed it off, my skin felt super smooth and definitely ultra hydrated.

YESTO Coconut Ultra Hydrating Skincare

For me, a lot of cleansers that I come across actually dry my skin out rather than give them more moisture. So I was definitely intrigued by the Ultra Hydrating Creme Cleanser. Marketed to hydrate and restore, it was definitely right up my alley.

In a (coco)nut shell, this cleanser is a creamy dream come true for dry skin. That’s because it’s packed with virgin coconut oil – an ultra rich hydrator that moisturizes even the thirstiest complexions (thanks to a fatty serving of fatty acids). Crack it open and let its decadent texture whisk away makeup and dirt and soothe dry, cracked skin. Can you say “ahhhhloha?”

Wet face and massage this super rich cleanser in a circular motion (avoiding those gorgeous peepers). Rinse. For best results, use with the Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer. Finish with a refreshing pina colada!

Water (Aqua), Stearic Acid, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides, Glyceryl Stearate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Morinda Citrifolia (Noni) Fruit, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Psidium Guajava Fruit Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Aleurites Moluccana Seed Extract, Coco Glucoside, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Coconut Alcohol, Propanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance (Parfum). *Certified Organic Ingredient

Unlike other cleansers, my skin still felt moisturized once I was finished cleansing. Which left it primed and ready for some super duper moisturizing or a mask to really add that hydration back into the skin.

YESTO Coconut Ultra Hydrating Skincare

Last but not least in my trials, the Ultra Hydration Facial Souffle Moisturizer. This my friends, is a holy grail item for anyone with super dry skin. The instant gratification knows no boundaries. You’re going to find that after one use your dry patches, at least for me, will start to fade away and your skin will feel hydrated and supple.

This super-light whipped moisturizer gives skin a much-needed vacation from dryness with long-lasting, non-greasy hydration. Spiked with skin-quenching virgin coconut oil, creamy shea butter and softening jojoba seed oil, it’s a treat your skin will want to drink up every day. (Now where’s that tiny umbrella?)

After cleansing face with your Yes To Coconut facial cleanser or wipe, massage this decadent moisturizer on skin. This whipped souffle is light enough to use twice daily and rich enough to hydrate very dry skin. Just don’t try to eat it – opt for some coconut ice cream instead.

🔟 Creating this community has been one of my favorite things about life. What will you find here?! Easy beauty tips and tutorials, attainable fashion, endless Amazon finds, but also the UNCOMFORTABLE stuff: pap smears, depression, anxiety, the effects my husbands addiction had on our marriage, eating disorders, struggles with fertility, body acceptance, and being comfortable in your own skin. I try to keep it as real as humanly possible. Being so vulnerable all of the time isn’t the easiest thing but if it helps just one person feel less alone, I’m good! ⠀⁣

Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thin Loving an addict is one of if not the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. ⁣
⁣
We’re about two hit two years since Jim entered rehab and I’m forever proud of the changes he made and the man he has become⁣
⁣
For the person reading this who loves an addict. It’s changed you, I know. It made you a little harder to reach. It made getting out a bed a little rough. It’s isolated you from groups of friends. Your hearts a little more closed off then it once was. Your trust is a little bit broken. You’ve felt more alone then you ever have. You’ve felt judged. You’ve felt betrayed. You’ve felt at fault.⁣
⁣
Whether you’re past it or still in the trenches. I want you to know some things. ⁣
⁣
I need you to know that it’s not your fault. I need you to know that you could not have done anything differently. I need you to know that you can’t cure it. You didn’t cause it. And you can’t control it. ⁣
⁣
Most of all I need you to know that it gets better. I need you to know that it’s ok to feel happiness again. It’s ok to put yourself first. It’s ok to take care of your. ⁣
⁣
And you’re not alone. ⁣
⁣
I promise you that there’s a light on this side of the tunnel just waiting for you to walk through. And that light doesn’t mean it’s over, it’s just there to guide you. Because every day could be a battle. ⁣
⁣
I stayed for the battle. But that’s not the only way. If you need to leave that’s okay too. Either way. You have to get to that light. ⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Go to a meeting yourself. Grab a book (Co-Dependent No More, was helpful for me) listen to a podcast. Get yourself a village. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF⁣
