I sometimes have people who ask me about a one brand routine, they are very brand loyal and the like the majority of their routine to come from the same brand. So I tried out an brand only foundation routine for a few weeks with Urban Decay and I wanted to share it with you.
From start to finish, this foundation is completely Urban Decay. And it works out well, is long lasting and looks great. You know, in my humble opinion.
I start out, after moisturizer, with like a kagillion spritzes of the Urban Decay b6 Complexion Prep Spray. This really helps with my redness, which is just something I deal with on the daily. I’ve also noticed that it minimizes the appearance of my crater sized pores. I really don’t even need a primer when I use this, but you could grab one from Urban Decay and use it after this if you so choose.
For foundation, I went with Naked Skin from Urban Decay. I’ll be honest, when I first tried this, I wan’t really a fan. I just couldn’t get it to work for me. I gave it another chance though with an insider tip, use a half drop of beauty oil into what you’re about to apply, and I haven’t looked back since. This formula is weightless, and feels like you’re not wearing anything but covers up your imperfections. You get a dewy natural finish.
The right of the swatch is just a mishap and not at all what this foundation looks like when blended, promise.
I have been setting my face with the Naked Skin Loose Finishing Powder. I’ve also been using and loving this on it’s own for baking. It’s likely my holy grail finishing powder.
Last, but certainly not least, I finish off the entire foundation routine and than again for my final look with Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. There is zero comparison to any other setting spray. Some are awesome, this is the best.
