It’s cold here in the great state of New Jersey, just today we hit a feels like 6 degrees day and being outside is one of the last things I want to be doing. I’ve slowly started to move all of my workouts indoors and I do mean slowly since Saturday it’ll be 60 again. But I know in big parts of the country you guys are seeing the cold and it’s here to stay. So I wanted to share one of my favorite workouts with you all, the 45-minute treadmill workout. Just in case you need to move your runs inside.
The left-hand column is your time. So make sure your treadmill counts up instead of counting down. So the first “interval” is 0 to 5 minutes at 3.5 mph at an incline of 4% (or level 4). The next “interval” is 6 to 8 minutes at 4.5 mph at an incline of 6% (or level 6). And so on.
Heading to the gym for a treadmill workout, I thought it would be the perfect time to try out my new Saucony Guide 10 running shoes. They embody fashion and function. Which when you’re heading to the gym in the middle of the day and running errands after, is something you need. Fast enough for your run. Cool enough for your rest day.
The Guide 10 is perfect for someone who needs some light stability that will give you a ton of support, without being super bulky and weighing you down. While running, or even power walking for that matter, this is perfect for me. It feels like you’re running on air. It’s also so lightweight that I can rock it all day. It comes in a three different color options for women and I really liked that it was fun and bright and I could match it to a ton of leggings, I’m sure.
I got to try out a few other pairs too. I might love these Saucony Triumph ISO 3’s the most because they’re so beautiful. The material is just amazing, it’s called Marl. Marl is a knit cotton fabric that makes the gray color and cool texture. The Triumph ISO is a neutral shoe that has extra cushioning – great for long training runs or if you just prefer a plush landing for your stride.
And last, but certainly, not least is the Saucony Ride 9. This is also available in the fabulous Marl material. Saucony has taken your favorite running shoes and remixed them. Giving you this sleek black and gray palette, perfect for whatever the day, or the road, throws at you. The Ride 9 is a responsive neutral shoe with great energy return and a classic build. A go to for seasoned veterans and new runners alike! And it’s just pretty, and I like pretty.
They’re perfect for your runs, treadmill workout, or even just hanging out. Saucony has been a long time favorite of mine, bringing fashion and function together in one shoe. Be sure to check out The Saucony Marl Pack!
