A few months back I tried a metric ton of makeup brushes from Amazon. I have an absolute obsession with Amazon Prime (did you know you could pay for Prime monthly now? SCORE) so one day I was just sitting there and ordered a kagillion brush sets to test out and find the best of the best and I came out on the other side with some freaking awesome brush sets that were super affordable and awesome quality, if you haven’t checked it out, be sure to go here and take a look. So after I finished all of that testing I thought it would be fun to check out some makeup sponges that we could grab on Amazon and do it all over again. Here are the best of the best makeup sponges that you can grab from Amazon!
Aesthetica Cosmetics Beauty Sponge Blender || This was the first one I tried and it really set the bar for the rest of the testing because it was freaking awesome. I’ve actually reached for this over my beauty blender on most days. It’s a pretty decent dupe and is maybe even a bit better 😉 And it’s like $9 bucks. Bonus.
L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics Infallible Blend Artist Concealer Blender || I didn’t have the highest hopes for these because when Maybelline tried to come into the sponge game, it failed. I was pleasantly surprised with how awesome this sponge is for blending out concealer, especially under the eyes.
Real Techniques 6 Miracle Complexion Sponges Make Up Brush Set || I love Real Techniques brushes so I thought I would give the sponges a try and I am glad I did. This is a whole set so you get a sponge for freaking everything which really comes in handy!
Eastrin Makeup Sponge || This is cool because you get a six pack for $15.99. They don’t really match the precision you get with an original beauty blender but they get the job done. You just need to get them SUPER wet. I use these for moisturizers and serums in my skincare routine as well.
beautyblender Original || No review needed here, it’s amazing, duh. I wanted to put it on the list though because it’s available on Prime so free shipping as opposed to grabbing it somewhere else.
L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics Infallible Blend Artist Contour Blender || I hated this sponge the first time I tried using it but it was definitely user error. You actually use it to draw on contour lines with cream product and then blend out in circular motions. I was trying to blend out with the sharper edges and that totally doesn’t get the job done but if you use the base of this to blend out, it’s perfection.
beautyblender micro.mini || Again, duh. They’re here because PRIME.
Real Techniques Bold Metals: Diamond Sponge || I posted this on Instagram and it was pretty 50/50 with either love it or hate it. Try it out for yourself, personally, I think it’s dope AF.
L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender || L’Oreal does it again, this is an amazing little sponge for applying and blending out a foundation.
3 Piece Jouvenet Beauty Sponge Blender Set || Dupes for beauty blenders that are just as good. And you get a whole set for $12.
AmoVee ProLatexfree Makeup Sponge || The flat edges on this are perfect for applying setting powder!!
Pro Beauty Sponge Blender || Literally this $13 set comes with a sponge for any and every thing you might need one for! And they’re awesome.
Acrylic Makeup Beauty Sponge Organizer & Drying House || Now that you have all of your sponges, you need somewhere to put them right? I found this and thought it was so great.
