After chatting about my current skincare routine a lot of the questions had to do with my favorite skincare tools and when what for, and how I use them. So I wanted to round up all of the tools that I use in my routine and share when exactly I use them. I want to preface this post, in the same way, I did my current skincare routine. My routine is super intense. It’s not for everyone. I am not saying that you need all of these products in your own routine. The one area where I will invest in is my skin. I also have a strong belief in treatments and dermatology. I am simply sharing these tools to show you all what I do in my routine.
For almost all of these tools you can head over to my Instagram account and see a demo of each of them in my story highlights!
MONDAY – TUESDAY – WEDNESDAY
GloPRO Microneedling Tool: Using the GloPRO three times a week has been absolutely life-changing for me. This doesn’t replace in office microneedling treatments but supplements them and allows you to keep the benefits of microneedling right in your own home. What’s truly amazing about it is that there is zero downtime, it’s painless, and improves the absorption of your products. It’s designed to help exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells to help brighten the appearance of the skin and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. GloPRO utilizes micro-needle technology for visible skin-firming benefits through stainless steel micro-needle tips which safely condition the uppermost layer of skin. For me, I have noticed the pores on my cheek area that are usually super large are almost non-existent.
TUESDAY – SATURDAY – SUNDAY
NuFACE Trinity At-Home Microcurrent Facial Toning Device: You guys. INSTANT FACE LIFT. I lie to you not, you get instant results after just one use. The results are cumulative so after using it over time you begin retraining the muscles in your face and your skin looks firmer and lifted. Trinity is clinically proven for improved facial contour and skin tone. Known as the Five-Minute Facial Lift, Trinity is like having your very own personal trainer for your face! I started with using it daily and then dropped to 3 times a week.
Pop Sonic Ultrasonic Anti-Aging Exfoliation Facial Device: This was my favorite tool to show on IG because you truly got to see all of the gunk come out of the skin. If you struggle with blackheads let me just tell you this is the BEST way to get rid of them. You will be shocked by the junk that comes out of your skin. Pop Sonic’s technology generates ultrasonic vibrations that will exfoliate and refresh your skin, with two power options for exfoliation.
THURSDAY
MicrodermMD by Trophy Skin Sensitive Microdermabrasion System: This is amazing if you struggle with dry skin. This is a high-tech combo of diamond exfoliation and suction to exfoliate the outer layers of skin. Suitable for all skin types. Softer, smoother, and more hydrated skin after just six weeks. You’ll also see a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Same as the GloPRO, this isn’t meant to replace in-office microdermabrasion it’s meant to be supplemental at home.
DAILY
Pop Sonic Leaflet Sonic Cleansing Facial Device: Some folks prefer to use a Clarisonic daily, but I’ve started only using mine when I was my face in the shower. I’ve switched to this cleansing device for daily face washing. Cleanse your face of daily grime, makeup, and dead, dry skin with the massaging sonic cleansing of The Leaflet. The Leaflet has nine adjustable speeds to help enhance your everyday skin-care regimen.
Rose Quartz Facial Roller: If you grab nothing else from this list to add to your routine, grab this. This is the first “tool” I ever used and I now use it daily sometimes multiple times a day. You can learn all about facial rolling here in my WTF is facial rolling post. This is also great if you suffer from headaches. I love using it on the NuFACE days because I feel like you really get the extra firmness to your skin. Everything looks tight and glowy.
ONCE A WEEK
Tinkle Razors: YES, I shave my face. And I use these cute ass little eyebrow razors to do it most of the time. Why am I shaving my face? To get rid of peach fuzz and exfoliate the skin.
DERMAFLASH 2.0 LUXE Facial Exfoliation Device: This takes it a step further than a razor. Gets a little bit more in depth. It’s also a bit more gentle than a razor so if you have sensitive skin this would be perfect. I have one so I use it when my skin is feeling a bit dull but I will mostly use the tinkle razors. So I don’t think it’s a must-have unless of course, you have sensitive skin like I said.
AS NEEDED
Ice Roller: This is a must have for me at least once or twice a week. My skin is dry and especially in the winter, it tends to hurt when I wake up or is incredibly puffy. The ice roller basically heals everything. Also another great tool for migraines.
