I’ve been to Nashville twice now, once a few years back when my good friends were running a marathon. Since then I have been itching to go back. I’ve always thought Nashville would be the best place for a girls’ weekend. It’s got something for every and it’s a short flight from both coasts. However every time I brought it up to friends someone always had something to do so it just never happened. Until now. Blogland can be a lonely isolating place so when you find your tribe you stick with it. Katie created a group for bloggers to connect in. And she thought it would be cool to plan something where a lot of us could finally meet up. And so we did. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. Connection. Laughs. And a ton of food. I wanted to recap it for you, if you’re heading to Nashville these are the musts on my list!

WHERE TO STAY ||
LOEWS VANDERBILT HOTEL NASHVILLE
The Loews Nashville was an absolutely beautiful space. The subtle hints of country music memorabilia were just the vibe to make this feel like home for me. It’s just outside the city center to get that little bit of peace you might need after walking Broadway and it’s just a short ride to downtown or to any of the cute little neighborhoods all over Nashville, like The Gulch. This was my first time in this hotel but it’s not my first time at a Loews, the Philadelphia hotel is my favorite spot for a staycation. The rooms are always gorgeous, the room service is a 10/10, the robes are the comfiest, and the best part is the customer service. They truly go above and beyond. From getting you into your room ASAP to ensuring you know the best spots to eat, the Loews family does it the best.
WHAT TO EAT ||
The atmosphere here was so cool! Party Fowl offers diners a one-of-a-kind experience from hot chicken to cold drinks. Seriously the hot chicken sandwich with poultry-geist (try if you dare!) was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life! If you’re wanting to know what Nashville Hot Chicken is all about, this is the place to go!
We had an absolutely delicious dinner at Makeready! Located on the ground floor of Noelle, Makeready offers a seasonal approach to American tavern cuisine. There’s also a secret bar so be sure to be on the lookout for that!
I had the best “nachos” in my entire life here. Seriously, if you’re in Nashville you need to head straight for the Dirty Kettle Chips before you do anything else. They were amazing. They also have an awesome rooftop deck with great city views!
While this is the best place to go for line dancing in Nashville, they also have some amazing food. These fried pickles will be in my top 5 forever and ever.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy breakfast, head over to the Frothy Monkey! I had the farm breakfast and the bacon was to die for! The 12South location makes it easy to head out and shop at all the cute boutiques Nashville has to offer as well!
Ok if you haven’t noticed I have a thing for fried food. The fried pickles and peppers at Burger Republic were amazing and the burger was something I’ll definitely go back for. They were voted the best burgers in Nashville but honestly, they’re maybe in my top 3 of all burgers ever.
WHAT TO DO ||
NIGHTLIFE
If you’re looking for a good time paired with all the dancing your heart desires? Head to Broadway for all the honky-tonks a girl could want! We skipped around from Tootsies, to Wildhorse, and ended our night on the top floor at The Stage. I lost the contact from my left eye and my voice but somehow managed to keep my dignity LOL. It was a blast and I truly can’t wait to go back.

PHOTO-OPS
We went hunting for all the best murals Nashville had to offer and stumbled upon Off The Wall Nashville, it’s a collection of murals on Charlotte Ave and we did what bloggers do best and shot so much content, seriously, I could post photos from Nashville for the next three months.

ART
Head to the Frist Art Museum if you’re looking to experience something a bit more laid back!
SHOPPING
The 12South area of Nashville had everything from seersucker everything in Draper James to cute little vintage boutiques, all within walking distance of one another! Same with the Gulch neighborhood, som many shopping spots!

MUSIC
Nashville is the mecca for some of the most talented people I have ever laid eyes on. We caught Haley Vaughn performing at The Stage and this girl could belt out everything from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Lizzo. We also were lucky enough to have a private rooftop concert with Menna, and while that may be something you can’t experience, you can definitely stream her songs on Spotify. Her voice is magical and her words left me in tears, the good kind. I’ve listened to her song Ride every day since hearing it for the first time. Check her out.

MAKE YOUR OWN GOO GOO CLUSTER
Now you might be asking what the heck a Goo Goo Cluster is, I definitely did! It’s basically candy! They’re made with real milk chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and marshmallow nougat! We got to make our own at the Goo Goo shop on 3rd Ave! When creating your own cluster, you get to pick 2 “Sweets” (things like bourbon salted caramel and Nutella), up to three fillings (things like potato chips, fruity pebbles, and rainbow sprinkles). They were SO delicious! I brought some of the originals home to Jim and he agrees!

GET PIERCED
What experience bonds girls together like a group outing for nose piercings? We hit up Adeline Roz in Printers Alley for ours!
Nashville was truly one of my favorite spots to visit and I can’t wait to head back!!
