Manifesting is a popular topic in the world of spirituality and personal development. This post will cover what it is, how to get started with manifesting, and some tips on how you can use this skill in your own life.
A great way to start is by setting an intention for yourself. What are you working toward? What would make your life better? Think about these questions carefully before moving forward with any other steps.
When setting an intention, it is important to make sure that you can measure your progress. Each time you create a visualization, remind yourself of why achieving this is important to your new life.
Once you have set an intention, consider what areas in your life could use improvement. You may list friendships, careers, financials, romantic relationships, travel, and more.
Next, create a list of what your ideal day would consist of. What goal would you like to manifest in your life first? This will make it easier for you to know which goals are important enough for you to work on next.
Finally, decide when or how often you want to take the time necessary in order to reach these goals. Is it something you want to work on every day? Every week? Every month?
For most people, manifesting a new life is something they want to do on a daily or weekly basis. It’s what will make them feel like their goals are achievable and that they’re making progress in their lives. Do you want an easy place to jot all of this down? Different methods of manifestation you can use are meditation, intention-setting, and visualization. These practices work by focusing on what it is that you want to manifest in your life. You focus solely on the positive aspects of this change or event instead of negative thoughts so that your subconscious mind will start working.
The 3,6,9 method of Manifestation is a technique that has been developed over the years and it has been successful with many people. The idea of this method is to write down what you want to manifest three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and 9 times in the evening.
After doing the three, six, and nine repetitions of writing down what you want to manifest for about two weeks or more, you will see that your thoughts change in a way where they start thinking positively. You’ll find yourself feeling happier because now your subconscious mind is on board with this idea as well. This method has been proven effective.
Visualization is a powerful tool for manifestation. How do you use it? Just sit still in silence and start seeing what you want to happen in your mind’s eye. You’ll find that the more detail there is, the better it will work out when using this method. You can pair this with the 3,6,9 method as well.
Think about how fulfilling this goal would be and all of the positive outcomes it will bring about. This is an important step, and you need to really feel the emotions associated with this goal if you want your subconscious mind to believe that it’s true.
For example, imagine yourself in a new car or home. Feel happy for a moment as though you had just purchased these items of desire––they’re yours!
Meditation for manifestation includes several things:
- Find a quiet, secluded spot to sit or lie down––this will help your mind relax and focus on the goal that you’re trying to manifest.
- Close your eyes and think about what it is that you want to come into existence––what would make you happy? What do these items represent for you?
- Spend time breathing and calming your mind ––this will help you think more clearly.
- Think about the things that are going well in your life––find a way to appreciate them and focus on how they make you feel happy. Find ways to be grateful for what is already happening.
By focusing on these feelings of happiness, we can train ourselves with success so that our subconscious mind can start to make changes in our environment.
Find at least three things that you’re grateful for every day, no matter how small they may seem, and focus on them––think about it if only briefly during your day but take time to be appreciative of these things when you remember them. The more we think about what’s going well in our lives, the more likely we are to find even more to be happy about.
It’s also important not to compare your life with the lives of others and that includes other people’s social media feeds––the “grass is greener” mentality can set us up for disappointment when we fail to live up to these unrealistic standards.
Setting intentions is another important step in manifesting your goals––instead of setting a goal and then focusing on the outcome, set an intention instead (e.g., “I intend to be more mindful today”) and focus on how that will make you feel when it’s accomplished.
This is also where mindfulness comes into play––focus on what you’re doing in the present moment and you’ll be less likely to get caught up in your worries about the future or regrets from the past.
If these tips don’t help, explore other forms of self-care that might––journaling, meditation, yoga, getting a massage… Do whatever it takes to feel good again so you can enjoy this time in your life.
